There's no word yet on casting for this new movie but the model exchange program is going on in the meantime (as you can see from the pics). Cocky Boys & Bel Ami are starting with Max & Kevin who are described as having "a similar look and fans are sure to go wild over this insanely hot pairing of these two models and these two very unique and distinctive studios."

Cocky Boys owner & director Jake Jaxson says that the two studios had a great partnership the first time with "undeniable chemistry" but that "Today, CockyBoys is a very different studio and I believe are in an even better position to create something really extra special with BelAmi this year." He also says that "We have really put a lot of energy into making Max an instant star and when G. Duroy mentioned Max would be the ideal model to kick off this year’s partnership, how could I say no to letting Max shoot with the top studio in the business?"

Countdown to the Grabbys: Best Movie

We're now just days away from Grabbys/IML Memorial Day weekend in Chicago where in addition to awards and contests there will be shows, events & all kinds of parties. It's the annual confluence of events which turns Chicago into a temporary porn star playground. Of course our main interest is in the The Grabbys Awards taking place on Saturday May 26. We won't be there but we'll be monitoring Twitter & social media and post the winners just as soon as we know.

Today we take our final look at the nominees with the Best Movie Award. Considering that the studios likely submitted quite a few more movies for consideration the Grabbys panel managed to whittle the list to a manageable size and come up with a reasonably diverse group of nominees. No list of nominees would be free of disappointment and notable ommissions (Naked Sword's Golden Gate comes to mind immediately) and there could have been a few more nominees to round the list up to 15. But here we are with the 11 nominees as follows:

American Lovers Pt 1 (Bel Ami). It was (and is) a very big deal when Bel Ami signed American star Brady Jensen as an exclusive and followed up with signing & filming even more American performers. So this nominee is both a milestone--as well as a hot collection of sex scenes. This is just one example of why the studio has been a real powerhouse.

Assassin (Lucas Entertainment). Certainly one of the most interesting movies of the year--a combination of a crime noir suspense thriller, a surreal indie art house flick, & gay porn. It's the story of a seemingly emotionless hitman involved in an assignment gone wrong. Plenty of twists & turns and intense sex to go along with the plot. Lucas Entertainment takes its movies seriously and it shows in the way the cast performs.

Cock Tales: Raising The Bar (C1R). A story about a group of horny and not so likeable buddies who make a bet to see who can film the best sex video. C1R's web series turned into a very cohesive movie in which the sex bet results in some genuinely hot scenes. Another good example of how director Chi Chi LaRue combines plot & sex almost effortlessly.

Dad Goes To College (Dragon Media). Writer-Director Joe Gage does it again with a sequel to his other award-winning "intergenerational" flick Dad Takes A Fishing Trip. Another near-perfect outing from Gage where he combines a sexy cast, controversy, fun, hot sex, great acting, & more into one package. Stand out performances from Allen Silver & Conner Habib.

Giants Part 1 (Raging Stallion Studios). Raging Stallion assembled one of the hottest casts of the year (and gay porn in general) and everyone brought their A game, as do directors Chris Ward & Steve Cruz. An all-sex movie with lots of chemistry and passion.

Impulsive (Colt/Buckshot). Another impressive cast, this time from the post-twink end of the spectrum. It's a beautifully shot video with outdoor summer fun for a group of hot horny jocks who prove that talent is talent. You want to see superstars in the making, check this out.

The Other Side Of Aspen VI (Falcon). The new era at Falcon started here in a movie which continues the legacy of the classic series --and of classic porn while giving it the look of today. Times being what they are we don't see that many of these kind of movies these days which is why this all-star epic stands out.

Sex City Pt 1 & 2 (Kristen Bjorn). Bjorn (surprise winner of last year's Best Movie Costa Brava) also has assembled an astounding cast of Eastern European & Latin studs. This collaboration with Bel Ami features models from both studios doing just about everything in the exotic city of Barcelona.

Speechless (Titan Men). Considering how many hot movies Titan Men released last year it's
not that easy to single out this one. That said this collection of three almost wordless vignettes is definitely one of the strongest. A super-hot cast of great stars --and we do mean stars.

To Fuck a Predator (Jet Set Men). A parody of a TV news documentary series this movie treads a thin line but director Chris Steele pulls it off. Jet Set has had a long term knack fir intuitive casting and as with so many of its movies this one features a cast of future stars.

Trunks 6 (Hot House Entertainment). As long as there are sexy hot men who look great in speedos and as long as there are beautiful pools with great settings there will always be a place for the Trunks series. Last year's installment would have to rank among the best which is why it is nominated here.

Considering the surprise winners in the past few years it's nearly impossible to make any educated guesses as to where the judges are headed in this category. We do have a feeling though that whoever wins will be steering the direction of gay porn later this year and next.

Hard Friction: All The Way

The newest Raging Stallion DVD release is All The Way, another top notch Hard Friction compilation with an unquestionably hot cast. Directors Steve Cruz & Bruno Bond have a winning formula of filming live shows as they happen & editing them down for DVD while keeping the spontaneity, passion & chemistry inherently found in these shows.

Cruz & Bond have always had a great eye for casting and either discovering stars or giving performers the boost to become stars. Since most of the guys in All The Way already should be familiar to regular porn viewers, the one who fits this bill is recently signed RSS/Falcon exclusive Derek Parker. From the trailer it looks like he's right at home having fun--along with the ret of the cast in a high-sported & vocal outing.

Derek Parker & Shay Michaels open the movie and as Raging Stallion describes, they are evenly matched: "tawny and stacked with muscle, only Derek is covered in a storyboard of tattoos." In their scene there's kissing, deep-throat cocksucking, a little muscle worship, and some hot fucking. Shay Michaels is on top here, a nice change of pace from his predominantly bottom roles. He brings the same energy to all his roles so if Derek Parker is evenly matched this is a wild way to open the movie.

Since there's kissing and a hot 69 early on in this scene there's obviously the chemistry promised in the description ---and a few vocals. The pair of manly muscle bear & muscle cub is a potent one and it looks like that's what's here in this scene.

The last scene moves away from the hairy muscle look in the previous pairings with Logan Stevens & Micah Brandt. That said the high energy chemistry found in the previous scenes looks like it's here in the finale too. It's interesting because although the two guys are physical opposites they do share the same kind of serious, & semi-reserved intellectual look. However they're anything BUT reserved here in this scene. Logan Stevens isn't a newcomer but he is new to RSS/Falcon & seems to fit right in. As for Micah Brandt his rise at RSS/Falcon has been helped by a combination of his talent, onscreen presence, and some high profile videos.

When a new Hard Friction DVD like All The Way comes out it's a reminder of how much the site has grown and evolved since it launched and we hope it just keeps on going strong.

This week at Gay Daily Hot Jasun Mark announced the launch of ManCast, a new FREE tube site created by himself and co-GDH blogger & director John Tegan. ManCast has launched with plenty of content including exclusive videos & behind-the-scenes from a number of contributors and sources.
