Rated-Z Studios & MYTH
Among the many independent LGBT comic creators & publishers who appeared at the 2nd Annual Bent-Con in Los Angeles last December was also one of the driving forces behind the event. Sean-Z Maker, the co-founder & President of Bent-Con is also the owner/publisher/artist/writer of Rated-Z Studios and the uniquely fascinating graphic novel series MYTH. The comic series has been a labor of love for Sean-Z and we encourage all you comic lovers & supporters of the LGBT creative community to take a look. We're also happy to report that the long-awaited third issue is soon to be released digitally at the Rated-Z Studios site.
As we mentioned MYTH is quite unique, well-crafted, & indescribable...and we mean that in a good way. It's a wondrous amalgam of genres & elements which Sean-Z describes as being "close to my heart". You'll find sci-fi, fantasy, adventure, mythology, & a human interest element with a dash of label-free sexuality & eroticism. He's populated MYTH with a number of well-defined & interesting characters--from average humans to ancient alien beings--all of whom are connected in one way or another. You'll find all the bios of the dozen+ characters at the Rated-Z Studios site to get a good idea of what kind of story you'll find in MYTH before you decide to read the stories.
Sean-Z has made the first two MYTH graphic novels available for reading on the Rated-Z Studios site and if you want to read the full-sized versions you can purchase them in the online store as a digital download or as hard copies. Plus there's a "Z-shirt" available fr purchase, Sean-Z provides a free gallery, & he maintains a blog. Sean put lots of time & effort into Bent-Con & now that he's taken a breather he's back at work at Rated-Z Studios. We can't wait to see what's next & we hope more people are along for the journey.
