GLAAD Media Awards Nominations
The nominations for the 23rd GLAAD Media Awards were announced this week & once again the organization has posted a video at YouTube highlighting some of the movie & TV categories. Of course there are more visual media nominations as well as those in categories of journalism, literature, comics, & theater. Check them all out here.
GLAAD does work on behalf of the LGBT community all year long, fighting discrimination (not always to everyone's liking) but the annual GLAAD Media Awards is when they honor those who produce LGBT-positive media. The awards again are divided into three ceremonies: in NYC on March 24. 2012, in LA on April 21, & in SF on June 2.
