Bent-Con: The Panels!

Bent-Con has released the jam-packed schedule of panel discussions, presentations & details on the after-hours film program for next weekend's big LGBT comic, sci-fi & fantasy convention! In case you've missed our posts on Bent-Con it takes place next Saturday & Sunday December 3 & 4 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. Now in its second year Bent-Con is already guaranteed to be bigger & better and a must for all LGBT fans of the genre.

  As we reported previously
Bent-Con actually added hours to the Saturday schedule and when you see what's in store you'll know why. Of course there will be vendors & publishers with tables and booths all day but there will be also be panels. Publishers, writers & artists like Joe Phillips are spotlighted as individuals & in groups. Iconic comics character Wonder Woman is given her due in a special panel. There's also a panel on gay erotic comics with such luminaries as Patrick Fillion, Belasco, Wendi Pini, and more. There are TEN short films screened throughout the day. Bloggers, queer film makers, & fans also get spotlighted. How about a costume contest? You'll see that too at the end of the day! But this is only a fraction of the stuff going on. If you still need convincing check out the full Saturday schedule with all the details.

As we mentioned the convention ends on Saturday evening BUT from 9PM -2AM there's the film program
Bent-Con: Flix After Dark--and it's free to attendees. This is not your typical comic convention fare as you'll see when you take a look at the descriptions of the 6 films screening at Bent-Con: Flix After Dark.

We're very excited about attending Bent-Con & we'll report on it here but if you're in LA or are visiting you should do yourself a favor & check it out on your own.

The Sunday Schedule may be shorter but it's no less diverse than the previous day's rundown. For one thing Tom Of Finland and the foundation created for him is spotlighted. The movie Judas Kiss is screened. There are special looks Non-LGBT creators, horror, nudity in comics, and more. Even more short films are screened! AND the convention ends with a first look at Strange Frame " A Lesbian Rock SciFi Flick". Again there is so much going on that you should check out the Sunday Schedule on your own.
