Class Comics' New Mini-Comic

Erotic gay comics artist-publisher Patrick Fillion has given his original character Camili-Cat a whole new look and you can see it now in
Class Comics' first ever mini-comic Camili-Cat: Changes.  It's an 18-page comic, available exclusively as a DRM-free digital download ("easy PDF") for only $1.99! It includes the complete 8-page “Changes” story plus concept sketch pages, an article on the development of the changes, alternate designs, and pinups by both Fillion and Leon de Leon!  It's considered a MUST for Camili-Cat fans, especially those who can't wait to read it before it gets published months from now in the pages of Rapture #4.

Camili-Cat has been around for 25 years(!) created by Patrick Fillion when he was only 13 & published in something called Magma Forces #5. Patrick felt it was time for a change & he teased this "shocking new look" recently in anticipation of the comic release. Having read the new
Camili-Cat: Changes we can honestly say that it really is shocking for longtime fans of the character and Class Comics. In fact, it's controversial. We can't say any more than that--just read it yourself.

While we're on the subject of digital downloads
Class Comics has added another batch of their Easy PDF DRM-free titles. In addition to Camili-Cat: Changes they've added Zahn #2, Deimos #2, Initiation #2, Rapture #2, & Naked Justice: Beginnings #2. When Class Comics calls them "easy" PDF they aren't kidding--they download fast, there's no shipping fees & best of all you get them right away--highly recommended.  By the way, in case you hadn't heard mainstream comics have been going the digital route for the past couple years. In fact, this month DC Comics went all out in this month in their company-wide re-vamp. All their titles started over with #1 (a sore point for many collectors) & a new continuity and they're all available as digital downloads, available the same day of release as print comics.

Lastly we want to mention Bent-Con, a comic convention for LGBT and LGBT-friendly comic-book artists, writers, creators, publishers, directors and producers. It's coming on Decembrer 3 & 4 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in L.A. The turnout last year was surprisingly heavy and this year promises to be even bigger--there are over 30 guests & exhibitors scheduled so far. We'll be promoting this great event (featuring many of faves & friends) until DEcember but if you're interested you should check out the Bent-Con site.
