Hard Heroes Returns!
On Sunday August 7 MJ's Bar will be hosting Hard Heroes 8, LA's only superhero-lycra-fetish party! Yes it's time once again for uninhibited comic book fans to dress up as your favorite superhero or villain for the annual bar party which promises to be bigger than ever!
Hard Heroes 8 is now a parking lot party at MJ's Bar (2810 Hyperion Blvd) and as usual it's jam-packed with fun. There's a costume contest, a fashion show by N2N, raffles for prizes, a Superhero vs. Villain Wrestling Match from Mike's Fight Show, music by DJ Candy, other special performances and lycra demos. There are also comic artists appearing and showing off their stuff including Steven Garcia, Iceman Blue, Steve MacIsaac, Sean Platter, Michael Troy, William O. Tyler and Sean-Z!
Even if you don't have a costume you can get your face and body painted by Ronnie Mena and crew of Special Effects face and body painters!
Again this annual event which traditionally follows the San Diego Comic Con is presented by The Los Angeles Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and Lycra Men Los Angeles. Plus, donations & admission benefit Being Alive - www.beingalivela.org
