San Diego Pride!
That's right, Gay Pride isn't over yet! This weekend San Diego celebrates with a rally, parade and festival along with other star-studded events & parties. You can count on some of gay porn's San Diego citizens (and studios) to be making appearances and having fun so we've got a brief rundown for you (with possibly additions to follow.
This year's San Diego Pride kicks off with the Spirit of Stonewall political rally on Friday July 15 at Balboa Park. It's followed on Saturday July 16 with a parade on University Avenue and the two day festival at Balboa Park on Saturday & Sunday July 16 & 17. Famed actress-comedienne Margaret Cho was recently announced as one of the headliners at the festival --even more of an incentive to attend!
On the party side of SD Pride there's the Pride Ball on Friday, the Pool Party and Circuit Daze on Saturday, with the famous Zoo Party on Sunday, and after party Fete Accompli on Sunday night-Monday morning. For more details on these events go here. Also, there's the Pride Dance on the Bay harbor cruise on Friday night.
As for porn celebs here's what we know so far. You can expect to see Brent Everett & husband Steve Pena at several of events and they'll actually be in the parade on the W Hotel float. Cavin Knight will be at many of the parties too with Drake Jayden. Heath Jordan also indicated he'll be in SD ---but he's there for fun, not making an official appearance. No word yet about San Diego's Steven Daigle whose Eating Out 4 movie just had it's LA premiere! San Diego is a two-hour plus drive from LA so there are bound to be lots more stars in attendance. Again, if we find out more we'll let you know.
