Obviously we don't have to remind you that June is officially Gay Pride Month but we wanted to make you aware of events going on in here & internationally. In fact this week alone is so jam-packed with events that it will require several blog posts.

 LA Pride.  Of course we have to start here in LA where there are several events leading up to Gay Pride Weekend. 

  Wednesday June 8. Cocktails With The Stars at Micky's is now on Wednesday & this week CWTS celebrates the birthday of Brandon Wilde.  Hosted by Scotty B & featuring guest Scottie Brooks along with other local celebs.
 
 Thursday June 9. The 2nd Annual Trendy Awards hosted by Scotty B & Syren Vaughn. Lots of porn stars & free gift bags to the first 100 attendees to this FREE event.

 Friday June 10. The Gay Pride Festival officially kicks off with the Purple Party celebrating the women or the "L" in LGBT. Live performances including Macy Gray!

 Saturday June 11 & Sunday June 12. The two-day pride festival takes place with lots of entertainment (see here) food, dancing, vendors, community booths, and more.

 Sunday June 12. The LA Gay Pride Parade. This year's Grand Marshal is figure skater Johnny Weir and he'll be joined by other honorees such as Margaret Cho, Andy Cohen & others.

  Of course other bars & clubs will have other events & celebrations so local residents should check out their favorite hangouts for info.
