Erotic Art Fair 2011

Artists, sculpters, photographers, publishers, etc all were showcasing an amazing array of male erotica over the weekend at the annual LA Erotic Art Fair, sponsored by the Tom of Finland Foundation. We were in attendance on Saturday and we're happy to say that it seemed the number of artists & attendees was way up this year. We're hoping thatthis means the event moves to a bigger venue next year--it deserves it.

We went to the Erotic Art Fair with some friends including Robert Chandler of Real Guys Exposed (soon to become Fantastic Foreskin), fellow blogger Tommy Wells, and sexy Brit porn star Kieron Knight who is visiting LA for a month. By the way don't be surprised if we have news on Kieron during the coming weeks. In addition Kieron, John of Jack Manly, Tommy, & Robert will all be at the Phoenix Forum next weekend.

We finally got to meet the guys from Sold Out Clothing who are producing the official Tom Of Finland t-shirt line. You really have to check them out---the t-shirts look great. Look for the Sold Out guys to be posted new pics with some very special people wearing their shirts.
By the way Mike Dreyden who posted video from the Sold Out Clothing fashion show was also in attendance at the fair.  Looking good Mike!

We also ran into Randy Blue director & photographer Jeremy Lucido who just published the second issue of his photo-art mag Starrfucker. The release part for Starrfucker 02  is coming up this Tuesday March 29 at Faultine Bar's Raunch. So if you're in LA this coming week, check it out. Some of the artists & models will be there.

As in past years the Erotic Art Fair also features live models who pose for photographers & artists. When we were there on Saturday the featured model was none other than Jayden Grey. Not only did Jayden look terrific but he posed for quite a long time & maintained his poise.

Last but not least we met up with Sean-Z the talented writer-artist who was there showcasing his uniquely exciting series comics series Myth. In case you haven't seen the work of Sean-Z you should check out his website Rated-Z. There you'll see the two issues of Myth, ordering info, and more. As we mentioned Myth is quite a series. In the words of Sean-Z  it's a "story laden in Science Fiction, High Fantasy, Mythology, Eroticism, Sexuality and Adventure of epic proportions". With its large cast of characters there's a lot going on in Myth and without giving away too much it's got some very interesting & unpredictable twists & turns. We'll be giving you more of an in-depth look & review of Myth in the very near future along with a spotlight on the super-creative Sean-Z and his publishing plans. Sean was very excited & enthusiastic about the upcoming third issue, his plans to go digital, and Bent-Con, an LGBT convention for comics fans & creators. Again, we'll have more on all this very soon. It was great to see you again Sean-Z---keep up the wonderful work you do!
