DNA Magazine Mate Of The Year: Jed Hill
The online voting results turned out to VERY close but fitness model & former football player Jed Hill has been announced as the DNA Magazine Mate of The Year! In second place was gay model & Texan Trevor Adams while third place went to fitness model Jesse Pavelka. The results were posted this week at the DNA blog in conjunction with the release of the first issue of the year. The cover model? None other than super-hot porn star Aden Jaric! More on this in a bit. First, a dramatic side story involving Jed Hill that preceded this DNA announcement.
You probably recognize the almost impossibly stunning Jed Hill from many photos taken by photographer Rick Day. Many male models are advised to avoid bulking up with muscle but Jed proclaims to a gym rat and has no interest in "losing muscle for fashion." We certainly can't argue with his decision!
Jed Hill moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to further pursue modeling & acting and he made this "leap of faith" as he called it not knowing anyone or having any family in the area (he's from the East Coat). Tragedy struck in November when an accidental house fire destroyed everything he owned, including his beloved dog. Without home insurance he's had to rely on donations from friends & fans and seems to be doing better but he is still recovering from his devastating loss.
As for Aden Jaric his appearance in the newest issue of DNA Magazine isn't that much of a stretch since the publication has often featured adult stars. Besides Aden is as handsome & photogenic as all the Adonises that grace the magazine. This is one of the reasons we love the Aussie mag---hot men are hot men and their professions don't matter.
