Our Top 20 Most Popular Blog Posts of 2010
Which of our hundreds of blog posts generated the most interest by visitors to Jack Manly in 2010? Some of the answers may surprise you as much as they surprised us. Of course hits to a specific blog or blog post don't necessarily mean that a visitor reads the blog post in question. However this year when you consider the amount of comments & hits combined we have a clear "winner". In fact the top three on the list each got twice as many hits as #4 on the list! Also, several blog posts from previous years wound up generating hits but we haven't included them in this list.
#20. Titan Men Releases Stockroom .
Whenever we've posted release info on Titan Men movies there's always interest but this particular title drew the most. In this case the combination of hot stars & interesting fetish subject matter pushed this blog post to the top 20.
#19. Brutal: A First Look .
Similarly when we've previewed Raging Stallion movies they also get lots of hits and this one is continuing to rise in number---thanks to a number of hot stars, lots of publicity photos, trailers, & trading cards. Had this movie been released earlier in the year it might have gone even higher in the number of hits.
#18. Steven Daigle Dresses Up For Men At Play .
No surprise that Steven Daigle would get lots of hits this year and if we were to show you the top 50 blog posts you'd really see this. Men At Play is another big factor here thanks to certain stars & high profile videos.
#17. In Production In LA.
All of our production reports blogs get attention but this one was the most popular probably because of all the names of stars who were in town that particular week. It's a lot of fun to put together these reports and get excited about upcoming movies and apparently it's fun for our readers too.
#16. Morning Wood With Landon Conrad.
A month before this movie scene was released online Landon Conrad was still a newcomer whom many of you probably hadn't heard of. The fact that it didn't take long for him to generate such interest says a great deal about this handsome man's star power.
#15. Men At Play: The Wedding--Bride's Brother .
Men At Play has been popular with blog readers from the start and whenever they introduce new hotties or in this case a new series, people pay attention. This series, or mini-movie is remarkably simple but highly intriguing to watch.
#14. Dawson & Logan Down Under: The Review .
Whether or not interest equals sales Corbin Fisher's original DVDs have certainly been among our most popular blog topic this year. The site & these DVDs have been especially popular in England---at least that's where the bulk of the traffic came from on our CF posts.
#13. Bel Ami's 27 Model Circle Jerk.
Appropriately enough Corbin Fisher's Euro counterpart Bel Ami also made news generated international traffic thanks to this record-breaking video shoot. The number of hits this blog post received was an obvious indication of just how popular this company is.
#12. Police Academy Gangbang: The Trailer .
Like Steven Daigle if we were to show you our Top 50 blog posts you'd see Jet Set Men represented many times. Chris Steele & Rob Romoni have tirelessly promoted the Jet Set movies & performers but more importantly have put out an amazing assortment of hot videos. A trailer ranking this high on our list should tell you this.
#11. Men At Play Nabs Alex Marte .
One of the year's hottest & fastest rising new stars Alex Marte has warranted lots of well-deserved attention that's sure to spill over into 2011. His hot body, handsome face & overall mystique are simply indescribable.
#10. Jeremy Lory Returns?
We didn't even have to post any of his videos but the mere mention of his name catapulted Jeremy Lory into our Top Ten. His uniquely quirky solo jack-off videos haven't been posted with any degree of regularity at Gay Tube and that certainly has contributed to his mystique. Nevertheless if he did more he'd be a blog star.

Hot muscular men always drive traffic and the announcement of this new site from photographer Ron Lloyd certainly drove a great deal. As of this writing the site hasn't really grown or developed --at least as far as it seems to casual visitors and that's a shame. If it had it surely would have been even higher on our list.

This hot fitness model turned porn star goes by a variety of names and has appeared on virtually all the UK sites. Yet he's yet to do a guy-on-guy scene or settle yet on one name---if he had done both or either this gorgeous guy would have been even higher on our list. Again you can't underestimate international readership.
#7. Newcomer Alert: Dario Beck & Ridge Kane .
Of course using both names in our blog post kept us from finding out which of these stars made this post rank so high. Since both men are so uniquely hot we care to believe it's a combination of both names that made the difference. Now if only they were doing more projects!

We actually listed the nominations of the first JRL Awards later than the official announcement but this blog entry sure was popular. The awards show later had a number of problems & controversies, many of which are easy to fix. A 2nd JRL Awards? We shall see.

None of the nice surprises of the year for many (including us) was the return of Phenix Saint--this time as a muscled star. It's always interesting to find out how popular some guys are, especially sleepers like Phenix who don't overdo their number of roles.

When we first got the traffic numbers on this post we were blown away. Week after week there was continued interest at least as far as search engines were concerned. Again we knew Dawson, Lucas & Corbin Fiher were popular--we just didn't know how much. As you'll see history repeated itself again.

There was more interest in this blog post MONTHS afterward due to the controversial news surrounding this young star. There's a lot of irony in the fact that a reasonably pleasant blog post spotlighting a newcomer would later be popular for the wrong reasons later.

Yes, our post on the second CF all-new DVD was even more popular than the first! We all know that Corbin Fisher is a real powerhouse and this statistic really illustrates that.

When Leo wrote to us to tell us he was officially out of the business we posted a very simple blog entry on the news. We figured there would have to be some interest because even though Leo hadn't done anything in a few months he was still a very popular star. However, we didn't anticipate the numbers we saw as a result of several blogs picking up on the story.
After all the comments here & elsewhere it's clear that people have very strong opinions about Leo Giamani. Everyone seems to agree on his sexy physical attributes & attractiveness even when there was a debate on his onscreen performing talents. Maybe because we all knew very little about Leo personally and because he was a quiet sort there remains a mystique about him. If so that would be a big reason why our blog about his retirement #1.
