Big Shots: The Review
Obviously not every one of the Auditions series of DVDs from Lucas Entertainment will appeal to everyone for the simple reason that certain collections may feature performers that you're not into. With that being said it's very doubtful that a majority of you won't enjoy Auditions 35: Big Shots. It's both fascinating & sexually exciting entertainment and if you're like us you'll find some new faves among the performers and gain more of an appreciation for those you already like.
First, if you're unfamiliar with the Auditions DVDs, here's the lowdown. In simplest terms they consist of real porn star interviews followed by hot sex scenes. Michael Lucas does the Q & A with one or two porn models and when they're over Lucas either has sex with the individual star or lets the couple go for it. Of course, if you're not into the whole interview process you can skip ahead to the sex part. What you will NOT find are softball interviews. Granted, Michael Lucas is an admittedly polarizing figure and he may lack a specific kind of interview etiquette but the result is that you will get to learn a great deal about the stars both with their backgrounds & real personalities---as much as they're willing to share, that is.
The first scene in Auditions 35: Big Shots is Michael Lucas chatting with Steven Daigle and while he has been
interviewed many times before and been on reality TV this is probably the the most interesting Q & A to date. Again you might be annoyed by the "devil's advocate" style that Lucas employs but you'll probably forget all about that during the intimate & passionate sex that follows. Now that we've seen Steven Daigle in action many times we're used to his very naturally sexy and charismatic style but since this was one of the first scenes he filmed it's interesting to see he's been a natural from the start.
The next scene is an interesting match-up between Israeli performer Shay and hairy chested & hung young star Zach Alexander. Their interview is conducted while they're in bed in their underwear so the sexual intimacy is already there in the soft & semi-romantic ambient light of the apartment. The guys reveal that they're both single but the way that they have sex on camera makes it seem as though they're a couple. This scene is perfect for those viewers who like to see chemistry and get off on seeing guys take their time in bed.
Next we meet Rusty Stevens & Rod Parker another fascinating & perfectly matched pair. We say they're well-matched because although you may want to label them as bisexual, both guys seem to defy any kind of label. Parker London has such an engaging personality & infectious smile that it's very hard not to have a crush on him. Rusty Stevens has a more low-key approach and that carries through their scene. Again, there's lots of kissing & chemistry and sex that is powerfully hot from beginning to end. We've mentioned this before but we love the way that Parker expresses sexual pleasure --hs facial expressions, body language & the way he moans and mutters "fuck" repeatedly. It's just plain hot and Rusty Stevens always seems to adapt so well to whomever he's with.
With the fourth pairing the guys couldn't be more dissimilar. Kyle DeAnthony is NYer, a dark-haired graphic designer & seemingly as vanilla as can be. His partner is well-known blondish Cameron Adams who is a full-time porn star & escort living in LA. Kyle's back story couldn't be more of a contrast's to Cameron's high-drama life. Fortunately this isn't a matchmaking video! That said the two sexy guys are very hot together in an amazing flip-flop fuck scene. It's surprisingly more raw and masculine than any of the previous scenes and a testament to Cameron's talents.
The last scene is also a flip-flop scene with exotically handsome couple Justin Christopher & Matan Shalev. Michael Lucas is naturally more drawn to his exclusive Matan in the interview segment but when the guys get to their scene they're on a level playing field. That says a lot for Justin stepping it up and Matan not trying to be the "star" of the scene. While their flop-flop scene isn't as hardcore as the previous scene it has lots of chemistry that wasn't as obvious during the interview portion.
So, as we mentioned you'll learn a lot about the performers in Auditions 35: Big Shots and combined with the many hot scenes on this disc is makes for a very satisfying viewing experience.
