This Week At Cocktails With The Stars
Good times! This week Cocktails With The Stars at Micky's welcomes a truly fab trio: Chi Chi LaRue, Samuel Colt, and Steven Daigle! It's the third "Cocktatils in The Forest" of the CWTS shows produced by David Forest during the month of September and it should be another biggie with a sizeable turnout considering the star power represented here. Since this coming Sunday is also the 1st JRL Gay Film Awards it's likely that a good number of porn stars will be stopping by Micky's in addition to the usual local performers & personalities that show up to show their support. As usual Scotty B hosts and he's going to have his hands full once again. It all happens on Thursday September 16 from 6PM-9PM.
This week's at Cocktails With The Stars actually has special meaning for Jack Manly because this past weekend was the one year anniversary of the day we had the pleasure of meeting Samuel Colt. He's become a full-fledged star & award-winning performer since then but he's still the sincerely nice, witty & cool guy we met last year. That day we also met fellow blogger & frequent CWTS attendee Tamara whose Guiltily Pleasured blog is one of the best around. We are happy to consider both Samuel and Tamara as friends and we're grateful for the support and inspiration. So, obviously we'll be in attendance at Micky's this week to celebrate.
Of course award-winning producer-director, DJ, and all-around porn legend Chi Chi LaRue needs no introduction. Chi Chi is always working on something and we're sure she'll have lots to say, including something newsworthy, for this special event.
As you recall Chi Chi was also the one that got third guest Steven Daigle into the biz so this night will be a nice public reunion. It's pretty amazing when you think of it how busy Steven has been this year and how fast his star has risen. He's moved from Texas to California and though he doesn't live in the LA area he is often one of those star who shows up at the CWTS events to show his support. You can bet this will be mutual, come Thursday.
