More Signings!
We don't have any statistical data but it does seem that there have been a lot more performers have signed exclusive contracts this year and two more hot, high profile stars joined their ranks this week. Jason Adonis has signed with Raging Stallion and Dakota Rivers has signed with Titan Men. Both studios rolled out press releases on the signings this week with some extra details worth noting.
In their press release this week Raging Stallion emphasized that legendary superstar Jason Adonis has been signed to a 16 month exclusive contract. It's interesting because it seems that most contracts (in porn, at least) seem to be year-long contracts. Nevertheless Jason Adonis is already busy representing Raging Stallion. As we mentioned previously Jason Adonis just shot a scene for Brutal, which RSS referred to as their "big porn blockbuster movie for 2010." Plus Jason just made a personal appearance as an RSS exclusive this week at the "Cocktails in the Forest” series at Cocktail With The Stars at Micky's. AND Adonis will also appear at the Raging Stallion booth at the Folsom Street Fair on Sept 26 in San Francisco.
Apparently this wasn't an instant deal. When Jason Adonis first arrived for filming on Brutal neither he or Chris Ward had an exclusive contract in mind. But he & Jason hit it off and after the filming Jason asked to be considered. RSS saw he gave a great performance so a deal was struck. Apparently everyone involved is happy with the deal including David Forest who manages Adonis.
So, what's next for Jason Adonis? You might be surprised to learn that he's very interested in fitting into the Raging Stallion look. He's considering growing a beard & body hair for one thing. AND he may be doing so-called "nastier" things including fetish stuff. This is definitely going to get interesting.
Over at Titan Men a press release was issued just today announcing the signing of Dakota Rivers as an exclusive. As many of you are aware, Dakota has already appeared in five movies for the studio Coyote Point, Reflex , Thrust , Mojave Run and Scorched so the transition as an exclusive should be a very smooth one. We learned some interesting things in the press release that Titan released. For one thing he just revealed to Brian Mills that he's been using his stint at the studio to explore himself "sexually & mentally". He's also got a full-time career and is starting his own business. Of course we know already that the guy is tall (6'3") and built so he definitely stands out among porn stars. Dakota Rivers will also be representing his official studio appearing at the Titan Men booth at the Folsom Street Fair on Sept 26.
