Depths of Desire Part 1: The Review
Depths of Desire Part 1 has so much going for it that even if you aren't into leather/fetish themed gay porn flicks you will still find this a totally satisfying movie. It's got an unquestionably hot cast of superstars, rising stars, and newcomers in some really dynamic match-ups and in every one of the scenes these guys give it their all. Essentially this is what you should get in an all-sex flick and Depths of Desire Part 1 delivers it perfectly.
Again Falcon performer-turned-Mustang director Erik Rhodes is back at the helm here but this time he's joined by veteran Steven Scarborough. We really aren't sure who did what in this collaboration but what matters most is great results and Depths of Desire Part 1. Besides it doesn't feel like there are two directors at work one bit.
Depths of Desire Part 1 is set in an underground sex club where the only requirement seems to be that visitors wear as little as possible --as along as it's leather. It's a dimly lit and grungy-looking club where you would expect to find so-called leather-types. Instead you find a wide variety of guys, including a few that you wouldn't necessarily expect to see in a club like this and this adds another element of excitement to the production.
In the first scene we find stunning redhead James Jamesson walking through the club and catching the eye of tall & handsome Colby Keller. James positions himself to be taken advantage of and Colby immediately reacts by walking up and exploring James' hot bod. Once they kiss passionately it's like someone flipped a switch and Colby can't get enough of his gingerhead friend. As you might expect Colby goes down on James who surprisingly not only gets a little verbal but he switches places and gives Colby head. Colby in turns gets VERY verbal and somewhat dominant. In fact when he starts rimming James it feels like he's going to top him. Of course this little tease doesn't pan out but that's ok. Colby Keller is such a lively performer that even when he's on the bottom he's in charge. He gets loud and verbal and every thrust registers on his face so he more than makes up for James Jamesson's relatively quiet style. This isn't to say that the muscular redhead is mere decor. He's got different, more subtle approach. Especially pay attention to his eyes and sex smile---they're killer weapons. Oh yes, and both guys deliver awesome cumshots!
The tone shifts dramatically in the second scene with Brandon Bangs and Nash Lawler where things get much more rough 'n' tumble--right from the start Nash Lawler struts up to Brandon Bangs and slaps & punches his hard pecs and he takes it like he's just been kissed. Here looks really are deceiving because Brandon's All-American good looks and placid demeanor don't seem to fit the scene. Bearded Nash on the other hand is no shrinking violet. After roughing up Brandon's pecs he goes for his cock and gets him hard with a little more manhandling & sucking. Again Brandon Bangs likes the treatment because he practically lifts Nash Lawler up and drags him over to a leather table to get the roughhouse treatment. Brandon becomes the dominant beast and sucks, rims & fucks Nash. There's plenty of verbal sparring here which, as in the previous scene, makes the action even more sexually exciting. That's saying a lot because the way the two guys perform here the vocals are like icing on an already frosted cake.
There's no deception in the 3rd scene of Depths of Desire pt 1 because you've got two well-seasoned performers in Scott Tanner & Jake Dakota who we've already enjoyed in this kind of scene. For this all you have to do is sit back and enjoy two hot & sexy performers go at it with no inhibitions & plenty of passion. Their dialog & verbal exhortations flow out of them as naturally as the sexual chemistry. In this scene Jake Dakota hungrily sucks on Scott Tanner's big cock and gets rewarded with some deep hard fucking.
The final scene is the one that has the most BDSM elements so if you like your gay porn with a kinkier edge this scene should really suit you. It's very hot no matter how you look at it and although it does have a rough tone we imagine that the performers must have had fun doing it. Newcomer Chris Porter has found himself in quite the predicament at the sex club: he's been locked up in a small cage against his will. His captors are the well hung Tristan Jaxx and SUPER-hung Girth Brooks who come around to let their prize out for some fun. However, the sweet-faced Chris Porter puts up quite the fight so Jaxx & Brooks cuff him to a St Andrew's cross to make him
less resistant to their charms. That it doesn't instantly work & Chris continues to struggle makes the scene that much more exciting. Chris spits & hurls epithets and his captors give it right back to him, finally shutting him up by force-feeding him their huge cocks. After that it's just a matter of time before the two guys are taking turns fucking him while the other feeds him cock in a variety of positions. You just know that when these guys cum they're going to coat Chris Porter's face like a glazed donut--and they REALLY do.
Girth Brooks & Tristan Jaxx both make really good power tops that goes beyond their massive endowments. They give it to Chris Porter with gusto and it shows in their faces and body language rather than performing like robotic battering rams. This being said the star of the scene is Chris Porter and not just because camera is primarily focused on him. In his looks & acting he can turn it on a dime from being the innocent victim to the edgy punk. Of course it helps that the handsome lad has a unique set of tattoos to create this dichotomy. The point is that Chris Porter is literally thrust into the starring role here and he steps it up beautifully. We donlt have to predict stardom for him--it's already happened.
As the title of Depths of Desire Part 1 implies there's a second part on its way with a completely different cast of characters. Of course we'll view both parts as one whole movie and avoid comparing but it will still be interesting to see how the upcoming cast does as well as terrific cast here.
