Hello, September!
We don't have to tell you that August was a pretty big month all things considered and we're looking forward to seeing what September will bring. There's a possibility that it may actually be an even bigger month but we'll just have to wait and see. That being said we are able to tell you about a few things you can expect during the month.
First of all there are TWO awards shows this year. On Sunday September 19 the First Annual JRL Gay Film Awards take place at the Catch One Disco In LA. As we mentioned before Jason Sechrest is hosting and you can see the nominations by clicking on the link. The following Friday September 24 the GAYVN Awards will be held at the Castro Theater in SF. Both events are expected to draw big audiences given the number of awards being doled out.
As we mentioned before the GAYVN Awards kick off Folsom Street Fair weekend so there is no doubt going to be lots of news (and hot photos) coming out of it. By the way it's been reported that the GAYVN Awards might be televised on cable (Showtime?). We should know for sure very soon.
As mentioned several times before September will also feature FIVE Cocktails With The Stars events at Micky's, all produced by David Forest and featuring a huge array of personalities. You can read about the line-up here .
Last week we introduced you to newcomer Derek Chambers who made his debut at Real Guys Exposed and we predicted big things for him. Lo & behold he's just shot for Dean Coxx at Club Dean and is expected to make a return visit to Real Guys Exposed. In the meantime this Thursday September 2 he'll be shooting at Jet Set Men and paired with James Jamesson! Should be very hot. By the way Conner Habib & Derek are very eager to work together and it may happen sooner rather than later at Jet Set .
Also Rob Romoni tells us that Jet Set is doing something new in September in conjunction with their shoots. He feels that everyone is going to "insane" for this new thing and that it's a first for a studio! We're sold already!
Finally, you'll probably be seeing a lot of one of our current faves Landon Mycles in September and beyond. As we've mentioned before he's been filming a lot and now many more of you will get to see this dynamic star in action. For example check him out this week at Suite 703. He's paired up with Jeremy Biding at Hot Jocks Nice Cocks and the scene really shows Landon at is best.
