Superman XXX Finds A Super-Star
You might remember when Vivid Entertainment released the straight porn flick Batman XXX: A Porn Parody (based on the '60s TV show) the sales were so good that director Axel Braun planned on doing more comic book, sci-fi, & pop culture Movie & TV parodies including Superman! Well, not long ago the director announced he had found the actor to fill the role, someone who was actually an experienced sky diver. That was all that was said until this week when Vivid announced that the title role in Superman XXX (based on the Donner/Reeve movies) would be played by Ryan Driller.
At first we thought that the guy in the publicity shot looked familiar even though the name was not. It took but a few seconds online to find out that Ryan Driller is also known as gay porn superstar Jeremy Bilding! Yes, those of you who know straight porn as well as gay porn know that Jeremy also does straight stuff as Ryan Driller but it's news to everyone else. As you can see he looks the part perfectly. Funny thing is that Ryan/Jeremy has had several pics taken wearing a Superman "S" shirt. He must be a fan.
The rest of the male cast of Superman XXX includes the guys who played Batman & Robin in the XXX parody. Dale DaBone (Batman) will be Jor-El and James Deen (Robin) we assume will be Jimmy Olsen. Randy Spears, Eric Masterson, Evan Stone and Alec Knight are also cast, probably playing Lex Luthor, Perry White and other unknown characters. Apparently Braun & company are going to spend some bucks on sets & effects.
When they first announced the Batman porn parody we thought for sure that DC Comics, WB, or even Fox (which owns the rights to the TV show) might sue over the copyrighted names, costumes, etc. Not a peep, as far as we know. This time it looks like there might have been some danger of a lawsuit over the trademark Superman "S" for them to create one that looks like a mashing up of an "S" & an "X". The movie is due out in November and if there are any updates (and a trailer) we'll let you know.
