Cocktails In The Forest--Updated & Revised
A few days ago we gave you the lowdown on September's line-up at Cocktails With The Stars at Micky's in West Hollywood which will be produced by manager David Forest for the entire month. Since then Forest has sent us an updated list with ADDITIONAL names of special guests. So, we're back again with a revised blog entry that reflects those changes.
As we mentioned before in September Cocktails With The Stars will be five-week long "Cocktails In The Forest " event AND the 15th time in 11 years that David Forest has produced it. Of course it means you'll be seeing guys that Forest represents for live appearances, some of whom are making their LA debuts.
Again, Cocktails With The Stars is open to the public and with no cover charge. In fact there are also raffles & giveways (usually DVDs) as a bonus to being able to meet & take pics of some of today's hottest stars. It takes place from 6-9 PM and is hosted by local celebrity Scotty B. In addition to the announced special guests there are always local performers who make unofficial visits so you just never know who you're going to spot here. Officially though here's the line-up:
September 2. Diesel Washington, Marc Williams, Antton Harri & The Sword's Zach Sire. Things start off with a bang as these three stars make their FIRST appearances at Micky's. In fact this is Diesel's 1st LA appearance. You can bet there will be something newsworthy to come out of the Q & A! Many of you know Zach as the blogger from Unzipped who is now at The Sword. With this entire lie-up this first show may be the closest thing to a gay porn version of The View!

September 9. Johnny Castle & special guests Cody Cash and singer-songwriter Tristan Hutchinson. Castle has appeared on many websites & in many porn flicks and yes guys, he IS straight. As for Cash there's an irony here that he was scheduled to appear at this event but it was canceled due to the fire that gutted Micky's several years ago. Controversial guests? Oh yeah. As for Tristan he will be making his live debut too. We're talking one very interesting evening
September 16. Director Chi Chi LaRue, Samuel Colt, & Steven Daigle. This line-up really speaks for itself. Legendary award-winning director/DJ/activist Chi Chi is ALWAYS busy juggling all kinds of projects so you can count on some announcement. In fact, Chi Chi just directed a PSA titled "Shut Your Hole" that was made with the cooperation of several porn studios and their stars. It's supposed to debut in September so hopefully you'll get to see it at Micky's. Then there's Steven Daigle and Samuel Colt who have both quickly graduated from talked-about newcomers to major stars in relatively short time. In addition to being popular performers they're also terrific guys.

September 23. The theme tonight is a tribute to the GayVN Awards which take place the following night in SF. Scotty B will be joined by David Forest and special guest Robert Van Damme. Just added to this night is hot newcomer & twink star Jayden Ellis.
September 30. Zeb Atlas. Who else but the king of big muscle models wraps up the month. Two-time winner of Men Magazine Man of The Year Zeb continues to be a major draw wherever he appears. This is actually Zeb Atlas' ONLY LA appearance for 2010 (he lives in Vegas). Since Zeb is the only scheduled guest this will be a very special evening indeed.
