Raging Stallion returns to the ruggedly masculine world of cowboys and ranchers for Roll In The Hay and proves again that this genre lends itself perfectly for gay porn. Of course RSS has already tackled the western in the epic To The Last Man but Roll In The Hay is neither a sequel nor a companion piece. It stands on its own merits as a powerfully sexy movie with some very hot performances that honestly will warrant repeated viewings.
 
  When we say that Roll In The Hay stands out on its own we mean that in every sense of the word. It's definitely a Raging Stallion but it's not a cookie-cutter flick either. Co-directors (and co-cinematographers) Tony Dimarco & Steve Cruz really do an outstanding job of breaking the mold and thanks to some creative editing from Andrew Rosen the whole movie bears little resemblance to any previous efforts from any of these individuals or from the studio itself.  In so doing it becomes very memorable.

  Roll In The Hay all takes place in the rustic interior of a stable so where various ranch hands take a break from their day's physical labors to rest but instead release their pent-up sexual longings. Tall dark & handsome Spencer Reed is the first ranchhand we see, toting a large bag of feed into the stable and resting his muscular bod down, with his back to Tristan Phoenix who is nearby, napping on a bed of hay. Tristan wakes up to see him rubbing his crotch, pulling out his swelling cock, and stroking it and he's justifiably mesmerized by the sight. However he keeps his eyes closed whenever Spencer Reed looks back to make sure his bud is still napping. It's here where we really see how the direction and camerawork is so effective. Frankly we don't recall scenes before where we've had such an intimate view of Spencer Reed and it gives us additional appreciation of this handsome star's assets. From his dreamily handsome face to a picture perfect cock that we watch grow, swell & get hard we're as hypnotized as Tristan Phoenix. Spencer also has some wonderful ways of using his eyes & mouth to communicate what his character is thinking.

   Eventually Tristan can't stand just watching so he gets up & goes to Spencer Reed to suck him off. Spencer eventually returns the favor and eats out the ass he's going to own --in a variety of positions too. Spencer is very very serious-looking when topping but he's nether too rough or too much like a robotic jackhammer. Tristan Phoenix is a relatively quiet sort too so it's nice to see the normally silent Spencer Reed step it up with some dirty talk--and inspire Tristan to let loose too in his own way. There's lots of cum spurted out and licked up in the moments of climax & combined with some deep kissing there's a sensuously kinky conclusion to the scene. 



  There are also a few solos sprinkled throughout the movie, mostly serving as introductions to the newcomers who appear in Roll In The Hay. The first solo is the movie's second scene & features Derek Reynolds. This handsome & muscular star is great to look at and watch in action and he manages to sneak in a few hints of what he might be like in a scene with another guy. The same holds true for the physically opposite, lanky & hung Troy Daniels whose solo happens later in the movie's second-to last scene. In addition both guys have completely different ways of showing off and they're shot differently so that while these are both solos they are neither filler nor redundant.

 The third scene with Paul Wagner & Ricky Sinz is as near to perfection as it gets. Like Spencer Reed in the first scene Paul Wagner takes a break from his heavy work but unlike Reed, this handsome and hairy muscle bull barely catches his breath before Ricky Sinz struts into the scene and gets things going. Ricky unzips, shoves his cock into Paul's mouth and we're witness to two unquestionably hot & sexy men in action. For one thing Ricky Sinz' body is in amazing shape and the camera and lighting enhance this to such a degree that it's almost unreal. Paul Wagner's thick and delicious muscle body also gets a wonderful spotlight as he's sucking on Sinz, getting blown, and getting fucked.  By the way, there's no other way to put this: Ricky Sinz knows how to fuck, and do it well. He's hard, verbal, & relentless but not a brute and Paul Wagner really responds well to this. By the same token Wagner is the kind of natural performer we love to see: he adapts well to all his various co-stars and no matter who they are his performances always ring true. Of course you can attribute the hot lights to the sweat that pours out of these two but the heat & passion they generate is really the reason.

  Next we see the flip side of both the previous scene and the first. Justin Jameson comes in from his chores to find the sleeping "giant" Antonio Biaggi whose monster cock is visible through his jeans. Handsome, bearded & hairy young Novak has a great mix of looking innocent yet sexually open so Sinz mets up with no resistance from him.   Actually all of Roll In The Hay turns out to be very satisfying & memorable from the theme to the cast to the execution of every scene and really that's more than we can hope for with ANY porn flick. This is a must-own DVD.
