Werewolves vs Vampires

It's been coming on for awhile but it sure looks like werewolves has replaced vampires as the sexier super-natural beings. We're not saying that vampires aren't still sexy but they have been increasingly romanticized in pop culture to the point that they've been emasculated. True Blood may be the exception but it sure seems more than ever that vampires are the stuff of female sexual fantasies.
On the other hand werewolves are the stuff of gay fantasies---when the sun goes down and the mon comes out they turn into purely rough & rugged, highly sexual creatures. Even when they're nothing more than moody, bad boys in the day they all become out of control beasts by night. Think about it--when see a sexy, masculine man our reaction is "woof!". What does that expression conjure up? So, from Underworld (Scott Speedman) to True Blood (Joe Mangianello) werewolves are definitely on the rise on the sexual fantasy meter.
