Mason Wyler Redux
We have some good news for all you Mason Wyler fans! Contrary to reports and/or rumors you might have read in the past few days Mason is still part of the Next Door Studios group. Not only that, but his site is being reformatted so that it will feature more content than before. As of now the reasons for these changes haven't been made clear but we hope to have some details for you soon.
As we've mentioned several times before, during the past couple months the Mason Wyler site had gone to a bi-weekly release schedule and coupled with the fact that Mason hadn't updated his blog started the speculation. Then this week the blog was updated with recap of Mason's life during the past three months--in list format. In short Mason lost his job, got a new one, injured his back, and rekindled his romance with his bf. Many believed that his absence and the cryptic blog list meant that Mason had been fired by Next Door and that his slot would be given to someone else.
Today, the new Next Door Studios Blog put THAT rumor to rest with some details about what's really going on with an entry titled "Mason Wyler has NOT been fired, and never was!". Mason is still working with Next Door Studios and is still performing for his site Mason Wyler. That being said Mason will be doing something new for his fans--a focus on live & interactive weekly shows as opposed to "pre-recorded content". He'll start this new format soon with THREE live weekly webcam sessions.
As of now, we don't know if this blog entry means that Mason Wyler will no longer be featuring new "pre-recorded" videos or whether the live shows will be strictly solo but obviously we'll know soon enough. As we say we don't know the reasons for the changes but we do have a few ideas. One, Mason lives in Texas and had to travel to California one week out of the month to do his videos. So this new live video show format will theoretically allow him to say in Texas. For another thing several years ago before Mason Wyler he had expressed an interest in doing live webcam shows. There may be reasons related to his personal life and more specifically his love life. Again we hope to know more soon.
