Part Two of Tales of the Arabian Nights continues with more of the same kind of sultry and sexy night time sexual encounters found on disc one but with almost an entirely new cast of performers and their own distinctive styles and scenes. The scenes here are also directed by Ben Leon who has made sure that each scene works well on its own yet can taken as a very solid and creative whole with the Chris Ward-directed scenes from part 1.

  In the first scene newcomer Aybars returns and this time he's paired with superstar Steve Cruz. Once again we get a beautifully composed scene featuring lots of kissing and foreplay before the two men segue into the hardcore sex. The semi-romantic pacing of the scene actually generates a kind of anxious excitement of its own as the two men kiss and get very hard, yet purposely wait before they start sucking their thick cocks. Even when Aybars is fucking Steve Cruz it's kept at an even pace--that is until the climax when Steve gets more vocal and the two guys explode. As expected Steve Cruz really shines here, demonstrating that no matter what the pace, plot, or theme of a scene he makes the sex look amazingly hot. He simply seems incapable of just "going through the paces". Oh yes, obviously the videography here.wasn't done by Steve but by Ben Leon 

 

  Apparently sucking on a hookah pipe is a big turn on ---at least that's the impression you'll get in the second scene with Damien Crosse & Wilfried Knight. However these two guys virtually ignore the pleasure of the pipe and start kissing and sucking. licking pits, and rimming. The foreplay and the subsequent sex is decidedly less romantic than the previous scene but there is equal amounts of chemistry. These two international stars don't hold back one bit in their flip-flop fuck scene that's just plain sexy dirty. Nowadays we expect this kind of ballsy performance from Damien Crosse nd we're happy to see Wilfried Knight is up to the task. There's an interesting side note here: Knight's two scenes were with both halves of married couple Crosse & D'Macho. Wonder if they've had a three-way.

 

In case you haven't noticed director Ben Leon is mixing it up more on the second disc of Tales of the Arabian Nights as seen in the third scene with Ricky Martinez & Derrek Diamond. In takes place during a desert rainstorm as two guys seek shelter from the rain and have a very hot fuck session. It actually starts out with a little kissing, and fooling you into thinking it's going to be like the previous scenes. However it quickly becomes a hard-edged sex scene with Derrek Diamond really giving it to newcomer Ricky Martinez who delivers a mighty big load. Derrek responds with hefty load of his own leaving Ricky a hot wet mess.

 

 Tales of the Arabian Nights ends with a very long and hot orgy that unfolds with the same sexy & sultry pace found in much of the video's other scenes. David Dirdam is languishing on a pile of carpets and jacking off when super-hung Antonio Biaggi enters and starts making out with him. Dirdam doesn't hesitate at orally taking on Biaggi's monster cock when Angelo Marconi steps in to get his turn. Before you know it Austin Wilde, Tony Aziz & RJ Danvers are right there kissing & sucking.

 

This is a well-constructed scene that could easily have been a confusing mess were it not for Chris Ward's direction. Without being heavy-handed the action all unfolds in a controlled manner so that a viewer can follow what's happening without feeling like it's scripted. The focus on the performers and match-ups shifts several times during the scene but it all transpires very naturally. Everyone is quite good here but Biaggi & Dirdam get special credit for turning on the passion & keeping it going even when they aren't the center of attention.

  As we mentioned in the first part of our review there are lots of extras on the Tales of the Arabian Nights bonus discs that really do enhance the whole experience and give several members of the cast a chance to shine. On the first disc you'll find the solos filmed on the set for Hard Friction Erotica. Tony Aziz presents a hot & intense total body jack off; Antonio Biaggi plays with his impressive cock in a teasingly playful * semi-cocky manner that's very hot; Conner Habib plays with every inch of his body like someone else is doing it. 

  Also on the first disc is a Hard Friction Double Feature directed by Steve Cruz. It's a thoroughly enjoyable behind the scenes documentary that includes Chris Ward on the set, still photographer Kent Taylor at work, and lots of interviews with the performers who often reveal themselves as very different from their on-screen personae. Steve was the videographer/cinematographer for the movie and it's hard to imagine that it would have been the same otherwise. As for the documentary it's very fun. The only drawback is that there's some footage of super-hot Adam Killian didn't make it into the final cut. True you get to see a glimpse, plus a very sexy interview, but his scene isn't there.

 The second disc has another behind the scenes feature from Naked Sword that's also fun but more along the lines of an "outside looking in" style. You'll also see a very good & insightful interview with Chris Ward. It's also a mini-look into the evolution of the movie--and RSS. There are also some classic scenes on these two discs:  Francois Sagat & Huessein from Arabesque, the orgy scene from Mirage, and the finale from Arabesque.
