Gear Up the Gay Comic Geek!
Super-hot & sexy Class Comics has announced a contest that gay comics fans are going to love. If you're the creative type and have always wanted the chance to create a superhero Class Comics has the answer. The #1 gay erotic comics company is teaming up with terrific gay comics fan blogs Gay Comic Geek & Fanboys of the Universe for the Gear Up the Gay Comic Geek Contest!
The contest is simple enough. All you have to do is design a costume for the Gay Comic Geek in whatever medium you like. Simply use the official contest images (drawn by the talented Patrick Fillion) and go at it. You can photosop on the computer or print out the designs and do what you like--even if you actually want to sew up a costume. Creativity is key!
There are two contest categories you can enter: “Naughty” and “Nice." The winner in each category gets a unique grand prize while everyone who submits an design will be entered into a raffle for one of five special prizes including bundles of autographed books, comics, and digital comics (see contest page for more details)The winning “Naughty” entry will be illustrated by Patrick Fillion, and the winning “Nice” entry will be worn by the Gay Comic Geek in a future Fanboys of the Universe photo shoot! So, who is Gay Comic Geek? He's Paul, a gay comics fan blogger and a self-proclaimed "big dork". He also vlogs on YouTube plus he's on Twitter, Facebooks, MySpace, & Flickr and no doubt he's seeking even more outlets. He's also into sci-fi, cartoons, toys, or "anything geeky or gay related". We kid you not.
Fanboys of the Universe is just as joyously geeky as Paul and can also be seen on social networking sites, the difference being that this one is a collaborative effort of a bunch of gay fans. There's lots going on here too including a forum and a sexy Fanboy of the Month feature.
While we're on the subject of Class Comics there's some other news to report. The company has upgraded its digital comics downloads for faster speed and scrolling and added six more digital comics. These include art books with HvH, Ismael Alavrez, and Mike. There's also the newly released Space Cadet #1 written by Patrick Fillion. The character has been around for awhile and now has his own comic with a sexy selection of sipporting characters. Class Comics is simply one of those publishing companies that is a must for all porn and comics fans.
