Dominic Ford's 3-D House of News!
There's usually lots of news that happens during the Grabbys/IML Weekend in Chicago and this year is no exception. There's the general "while we've got your attention" kind of news, and the news that relates directly to this week's events. For example the winners of the new Fleshjack Boys contest will be announced this weekend since the gay porn world has descended upon Chicago for the Grabbys Awards. So, for the next few days we'll be keeping you up to date on all the announcements as they happen.
Today the spotlight is on the always busy site Dominic Ford which is going to have a major presence this weekend. As you probably know the site's first full-length movie Whorrey Potter is nominated in many categories in this year's Grabbys so obviously the DF team will be there in full force. In addition Dominic Ford is also teaming up with International Mr Leather to create what they refers to as a "unique 3D experience" for this year's show A Leather Odyssey.
The IML Contest takes place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel from May 28-31 and the contest will start off with a short 3D movie produced especially for the event by Dominic Ford. The audience will be able to enjoy the film with special 3D glasses produced by DF and featuring co-branding with IML. Attendees will also get a special 3D button and a collectible 3D mini-poster.
As you might expect both IML and DF expressed excitement about this because it adds another level of entertainment to the show and it gives the 3D company added exposure. Dominic Ford will also have a huge presence at "The Leather Market" with their own XL booth. They'll have a giant screen playing Whorrey Potter as well as the other hot videos seen on their innovative website.
As we mentioned Dominic Ford will also be in attendance at the Grabbys Awards as nominees. The site will again be giving away 3D glasses to all attendees to be used for viewing clips shown at the awards as well as for the website itself.
Speaking of the site Dominic Ford has noteworthy AND newsworthy video this week. It features Topher DiMaggio & Cameron Marshall, a hot & sexy match-up to be sure and certainly is "blog-worthy" for that alone. What gives this video an extra boost is that the two guys are real-life boyfriends. Apparently when the site set up a filming with Topher he announced that he had a new bf Cameron and the guys wanted to film a scene together. Plus they wanted Dominic Ford to be the first company to film them as a couple. Thus the site brought back their "Boyfriends" series for this special video.
While we're on the subject there have been several real-life couple that have filmed videos together in recent years. Some have even gone on to form their own companies with varying degrees of success (both professionally & personally). Frankly we don't know how any of these guys manage to any of this successfully but we sure do commend those that do.
