Reflex: The Review
We mentioned in our review of Distraction that while some recent one word titled films from Titan Men sounded like they were part of a trilogy they actually were all different from one another. This is immediately apparent as you watch the opening credits in Reflex. Shot on location in a beautiful and semi-luxurious home in Palm Springs the movie breaks away from the more woodsy locations seen in most in Titan movies and incorporates a dreamy, almost surrealistic quality to its scenes. Credit director Brian Mills for showing a diversity of style & technique which makes the film a standout.
Reflex starts out on what looks like a balmy desert knight with Christopher Saint sitting alone and naked on the poolside patio, feeling the hard muscles of his tanned body. Equally tan and handsome David Anthony comes up behind him and they make out. The passion is high but the energy is is more like a slow romantic burn. They kiss & suck and shoot their loads and then move on to a slow deep fuck. The transition is almost seamless thanks to the same sultry energy in the first part of the scene. From beginning to end it's a totally hot scene.
We next see the house in the daytime with dark & hairy Dario Beck & Dakota Rivers together under a shower in a fancy veranda spa area. Dario is soon on his knees deep throating Dakota as the water cascades down. From a distance compactly muscled stud Will Parker watches and starts stroking. Wagging his big thick cock it's easy to notice him and both Dakota & Dario signal him to join in. With the water turned off Will is on his knees sucking off both guys as they kiss. It's full of romantic energy and sexual tension that's relieved when the two lovers shoot on Will and he follows suit. In the ensuing full-fledged three-way Dakota strikes a commanding presence with his confident, semi-cocky demeanor and both Dario & Will are eager to feed into that. The dynamic of Dario & Dakota of two lovers is still maintained to the end. The punctuation mark is a thick creamy load delivered by Dario that's quite an eye-opener.
The last scene has more of a fantasy role play theme as electrician Tyler Saint fixes the ceiling fan for Marco Blaze. Tyler isn't working naked but Marco is still immediately attracted and starts fondling him as he works. There's a raw animal sexuality to both guys that comes right out. Marco drops his towel and sucks off a willing Tyler. He returns the favor and both guys shoot their loads before going inside for a flip-flop fuck. Unlike the previous scenes this is harder & rougher edged sex. However it's no less passionate, just a different type. The two guys do kiss periodically but they don't ever tread into romance.
About the only complaint you could have with Reflex is that the two part scenes are structured identically: mutual cocksucking followed by fucking. A litle tweaking of this might make the scenes less predictable.
