MORE Super-Hero Porn..Coming Soon!
There's more super-hero porn coming your way! Next week (May 24) Vivid Entertainment releases the Batman XXX: A Porn Parody DVD and the interest in this adult flick has been so strong that the company is going to do more. Vivid has announced the creation of a new label Vivid-Superhero (how original!) that will feature porn parodies of Superman, Green Hornet, Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, Captain America and Thor.
When the Batman XXX movie was announced in January (see here ) there was teaser trailer posted on YouTube that received hundreds of thousands of hits within a day! As you recall it's specifically based on the 1960's cult TV show--right down to the characters, costumes, and even the Batmobile itself. Vivid was so happy with the reaction and the actual results that they decided to go ahead with more super-hero porn parodies. IN addition Batman XXX director Axel Braun will now act as the lead director for Vivid-Superhero line.
Given the line-up announced it looks like the company will be looking mostly into TV parodies although it's likely that newer movie incarnations of the aforementioned heroes will also be tackled.
Interestingly the cast of Batman XXX: A Porn Parody changed since it was first announced. Playing Batman is Dale DaBone who has done hundreds of films since '99 and won several awards while Robin is James Deen, another award-winner.
We wonder why there haven't been any big budget gay porn super-hero parodies attempted. There are certainly enough stars that look "heroic". And it can't be that the studios don't want to copy what straight studios have done. Look at the amount of press that Jet Set's Jersey Score movie has gotten---more than the straight version Jersey Shore XXX!
