Supersonic Jet Set
Not too long ago in a news round-up we touched a little on some of the stuff coming out of Jet Set Men and since then there's been a bit more, including this week we thought it would be a good idea to devote one full entry to the studio. For quite some time Jet Set has been making news from signing hot exclusives, producing some great online content, and most importantly putting out some quality flicks. In fact the studio's track record is so good these days that news coming out of the studio might easily be taken for granted.
Starting with the newest items first and working backwards Jet Set announced that porn superstar Rob Romoni has been made Director of Casting & Marketing. The award-winning performer has been in the biz for eight years in several noteworthy productions (at least one of which is yet to be released). As many of you know Romoni is also known as "King of Twitter" for his high profile presence on the social-networking site and chances are this was a factor in his getting his new Jet Set position. As noted in the press release Rob Romoni will continue to produce and perform in videos meaning he is one busy guy. For example Romoni will be in Chicago at the 2010 Grabby Awards at the end of this month filming it all for a video titled "Romoni Does Chicago.”
Jet Set Men's latest big movie Jersey Score is due out shortly and it looks like another in a string of hits. Like Finding Levi's Johnson this is also a very timely parody based on the MTV reality show Jersey Shore. And wat a hot cast. Director Chris Steele has got Dean Coxx, Kevin Cavalli, Andrew Blue, Jet Set Exclusives Josh Logan and Hayden Stephens, Trent Diesel, Jarred King, & Derrick Vinyard.
Jersey Score hasa few interesting side notes. Naturally many of you are aware of Dean Coxx from his long stint at Straight College Men & his own site Club Dean but this is actually his first feature so he may very well be seen as a newcomer to movie watchers. As we mentioned before this isn't new territory for Kevin Cavalli --he's also in a straight porn parody of the MTV show titled Jersey Shore XXX (how original!).
Have you seen any of the Jet Set Jocks videos yet? This is the new name for the former Jet Set online video site Jet Set Straight Edge. As mentioned before John Bruno has come on board to direct videos for the site and so far there are three videos up, all with that Bruno touch. There's a darker, edgier feel to these videos and with them some unexpected new faces to Jet Set--including Conner Habib & Parker London. As mentioned before Jet Set Jocks is free to members of Jet Set.
