Straight Guys We Love: Scott Herman
When it comes to sexy guys we're all for their getting extra time in their fiftteen minutes of fame. Last year's MTV The Real World: Brooklyn stud, the gorgeous Massachusetts straight jock/model Scott Herman is a prime example. This handsome, blondish, muscular, & ripped guy turned out to be more than weekly eye candy on the show. Scott Herman was sweet, funny, heart-warmingly & naturally gay-friendly. To top it off he endeared himself to comic book geeks like us by his desire to dress up like a super-hero. In fact, as we were later to learn he REALLY wanted to play Captain America --and he did look great in the costume too.
As we mentioned above Scott Herman didn't fade into obscurity after the reality show finished. Actually, we're happy that he actually increased his exposure as fitness model, underwear model, and entrepreneur with his own Scott Herman Fitness company (more on that below). PLUS, he participated in photographer Adam Bouska's ever-growing NOH8 campaign for marriage equality that has attracted over 4000 people (and counting) from every walk of life. From his stint on The Real World: Brooklyn viewers knew about Scott Herman's stance but it was good to see that this was genuine once the cameras weren't rolling.
As mentioned above Scott Herman has his business Scott Herman Fitness which is a website and a YouTube channel that he updates very frequently. This week he introduced a "pilot" for a new series called "Beat Me Down". In his own words Herman says "this is going to be my way to show you guys new workout routines and how great they work by having my own butt kicked." Given his tendency to show a lot of skin in pics & videos this series sounds hot as well as informative! He'll be filming this filming twice a month. There are already a ton of Scott Herman videos on YouTube (not all through his page) but we're ALWAYS up for more.
