Site Watch
There have been a number of established sites, surging sites, and new sites that we've spotlighted, many of which you're probably familiar with. Yet there are also a few, including some newer sites, that we haven't mentioned before that are getting some buzz. These sites are the subject of today's Jack Manly Site Watch.
One thing we've noticed about a good many sites these days (as you'll see below) is that they are opting for some pretty straightforward premises and vividly descriptive names. Sounds like a surefire way to get attention and traffic.
Drake Cameron. This fairly new site is the brainchild of two partners who like many self-starters wanted to do a site that features guys and videos that they would like to see. It started last year and featured new faces, a few familiar ones, and a very nice clean design....all things we look for. The site had a slight lag time in terms of new videos but is back on a regular release schedule thanks to the inclusion of videos featuring some Euro-studs mixed with their own locals. The site is also making a move to non-solo videos. We'd say this site is looking up.
The Great Canadian Male. Again, another site we've just come across. It's a nicely designed site featuring hot "amateur" straight jock types that are all new faces, thanks to its location across the Northern border. There have been a few Canada-based sites over the years for the most part they are feature much more diverse models that you'd expect. Such is the case here and you'll see that right from the start. Definitely a site we'll be looking into more.
Haze Him. Subtitled "Real Tapes of College Debauchery and Fraternity Hazing" this site bills itself as "the world's ONLY user-submitted college and fraternity ritual website! See straight guys do very gay acts to get accepted! Real tapes from college parties and fraternity rituals!" Considering the amount of familiar faces from gay porn that you'll see in the videos you could probably debate if the videos here are indeed "real". That said, the preview videos the site provides certainly look realistic. They have a very unrehearsed and un-slick look and many of the rituals are what you'd expect at a hazing. We're keeping an eye on this one and should have a review shortly.
It's Gonna Hurt. The same company that produces the above site has an equally upfront premise here. Subtitled "so stop smiling, now" this site features big-dick loving studs finding out what that old expression means: "be careful what you wish for..." While you can fudge the reality at other sites there's no way to stretch the truth here. And the site doesn't. There's simply no shortage or big & thick cocks here. There are also a few familiar faces including guys like Gianni Luca & power bottom Kurt Wild. If there winds up being a shortage of well-hung men at other sites you'll know where you can find them.
Out In Public. This site (again from the same company as the above) just came into our radar. The premise here is that the website is the "video blog documentation" of the hosts. They meet up with guys and talk then into having sex in public places". Again the premise is supposed to be real, filmed in South Beach featuring amateurs who are more than wiling to participate. The site just started this past January so it will be interesting to see how many familiar faces pop up here (so far we noticed Tristan Jaxx).
Tranny Land. Oh yes, the same company produces this one too. You've probably been hearing about a number of straight, gay-for-pay porn stars (eg, Vince Ferelli, Ty Colt) who have gone freelance and gotten into this growing but very specialized genre so don't be surprised to see more here in the future. Already we see that Rusty Stevens is on the site --can his straight buds be far behind?
