Falcon Entertainment and Next Door Studios made it official today that the two studios have launched what they refer to as a "strategic partnership between the two companies."  The announcement was made at the gay porn industry's annual business gathering at the Phoenix Forum in Arizona and it has far-reaching ramifications. More than likely many of you are probably asking why this is a big deal & what does it all mean? With that in mind, we'll try and explain.

 At the Falcon blog the company put it this way: "The agreement establishes a partnership to combine Falcon Entertainment’s production of iconic gay adult content with the online marketing expertise, well-established know-how and reach of Next Door Entertainment and its affiliate platform, Next Door Buddy
Profits." The strategic partnership will see Falcon Entertainment and Next Door Entertainment work cooperatively to develop and launch an innovative new digital strategy for Falcon and its family of well known brands. The partnership will include Falcon Entertainment continuing to produce original content while Next Door Entertainment will become the provider of membership sites, online marketing and affiliate program management."

 Falcon will continue to produce original movies & videos and will now have an even stronger online presence thanks to the Next Door's existing programs. Next Door will now be handling the business side of things: providing the various membership sites, doing the online marketing and managing the affiliate programs.   

  So what this means is that Falcon can now focus primarily on the creative end of things while Next Door will handing the marketing. To us it sounds like Falcon will be freed up to provide MORE product and hence the studio will be busier than ever. 

  Falcon XXX members are not likely to see any changes to their subscriptions and any real overall changes to the Falcon sites probably won't happen until summer. That said, we have a good rapport with Next Door Studios & Buddy Profits so we'll be able to keep you abreast of the various aspects of the partnership and the changes as they become known to us.
