Loading Zone: The Review
More often than not Hot House takes the route of simplicity when it comes to producing its porn flicks. Case in point is Loading Zone. As the title suggests it takes place in one of those temporary parking areas---perfect for illicit sexual encounters when there's no time for pesky foreplay. The scenes all take place at night too which certainly adds to the furtive qualities of the location. For those who have seen their share of gay porn flicks the set-up may not seem particularly innovative or inventive and you'd be right. However, Hot House makes it all seem fresher thanks to a well-chosen cast that makes each scene red-hot.
When we first see the Loading Zone itself Kyle King helps his buddy Drew Cutler unload---a truck that is. While he's bent over Kyle Kyle's tight ass catches the eye of Cutler who impulsively feels it up. Since this is gay porn fantasy there's no recoiling on King's part. Instead it's a call to action. He's soon going down on Drew Culter's thick cock and choking on it before riding it like a pro in the bed of the truck. Then, he gives Cutler a taste of his own aggressive action by flip-fucking. Physically these two performers are almost perfectly matched up and their mutual versatility works very well for the scene. The hot sex action is also backed up by some very hot verbal and aggressive repartee which suits the performers and the scene perfectly. Once again Kyle King shows how much he's grown as a performer while recent newcomer Drew Cutler performs like he's been in front of the camera for years.
In the second scene Andreas Cavalli & Vince Ferelli play secret fuck buddies meeting on the sly in the "zone". Ferelli's character is married and because he hasa suspecious wife, he's late. Cavalli isn't he least bit sympathetic and in fact treats Ferelli like his bitch bottom. Again there's lots of verbal action here between the two guys and the fact they both get off on it probably means you will too. Ferelli really has his muscle bottom persona honed perfectly while Cavalli seems to relish his relentless top role. The sex here is very high energy and there's little room for anything even vaguely reembling romance. The pont is driven home right after they cum and Cavalli walks away without even a look back.
The action shifts considerably for the third scene where the loadng zone is situated in the back alley entrance of a club. Super hot & muscular tattooed stud Johnny Gunn wants to see the band but the tall doorman Rick Van Sant gives him a hard time over his expied ID. Wel you can guess that in order to get into the club Gunn has to give it up to Van Sant. Van Sant fucks Gunn every which way and because of their height differences the hot bottom becomes a sex toy. We liked this scene because of its little touchesd that make a big difference. First, we haven't heard Rick Van Sant's voice before--he's a Brit with an accent that might just make you melt. In his other movies he's seemed less aggressive than he is here ----and we like the newer version. Johnny Gunn simply is built for sex --he looks great from every angle and proves that an high-powered bottom can be a scene-stealer.
The last scene has the most set-up but is still relatively simple. On a different night outside of the same club from the previous scene Craig Reynolds is sitting around in the alley when delivery man Arpad Miklos shows up with a huge crate. He's supposed to delivery it to the business across the alley but they've gone for the day. Miklos gets pretty steamed and when Reynolds offers to buy him a drink (when the club opens later that is) Miklos has his own idea. Yep, you guessed it. Craig Reynolds is servicing Arpad Miklos in no time and getting fucked on top of the crate. As with the first scene these two masculine & muscular men are ideally suited to one another. Arpad Miklos is known for his hard-driving topping style but he's far from mechanical --he looks right into the eyes of his bottoms and makes sure he's connected to them in every way. This is ideal for Craig Reynolds who is pretty much the same way. It turns out to be a brutish yet passionate scene.
