Countdown to Sean Cody #1000
Within the next few weeks website Sean Cody will be releasing its 1000th video and Jack Manly will be counting down to this milestone with an assortment of celebratory posts. Sean Cody was this blogger's first experience with online video sites (even before Jack Manly came into being) which is why we hold it such regard. You know how it is--you always remember your first.
As many of you know Sean Cody wasn't the very first site of its kind but almost ten years after it began it still stands out among the hundreds of websites that have sprouted up over the years. We'd really be hard-pressed to think of any examples where Sean Cody mimicked another site or followed a trend because the site has simply followed its own course. In past blogs we've spotlighted many videos and models (some of whom have gone on to become stars) so writing more about Sean Cody is a piece of cake.
Of course we're hoping that Sean Cody has done something special for its 1000th video but even if it doesn't we'll still be making a big deal about it. Aside from some SC-themed blogs we'll be taking a closer look at all the newest videos leading up to the milestone episode. Maybe from these we can determine or at least get a clue as to what the site has planned.
We start our video countdown with #980 & #981 Lane & Troy and Lane & Troy: Behind the Scenes. In a way both of these models are excellent representations of the "Sean Cody" types. Blond Lane has that sweet & shy innocent & wholesome collegiate look that we've seen many times before and as in many of these instances that look masks a sexed up stud. On the other hand Troy is the totally outgoing Southern charmer who is up for just about anything. Troy is also a joker in front of the camera, another quality which Sean Cody loves his models to show off. Getting down to the nitty-gritty both guys are full-on kissers. You don't always see this in other sites but Sean Cody seems to insist that the models here kiss and kiss like they mean it, whether they're gay, straight or bi.
Video #982 features Darren, a low key straight dude from the east coast with a lean ripped body and a dusting of trimmed body hair. Like several straight guys that appear here Darren is a no-nonsense "let's get the job done" type who lets down his guard in some casual interview segments. Will he be coming back? That's the question that always comes up with Sean Cody models but nothing is a given here so we're left to wonder.
Sean Cody video #983 Brendan & Alan again features guys that represent more Sean Cody types. In Brendan we've got the former school jock who identifies as straight but also expresses a "curiosity" about guys. When you see Brendan smile and talk you can see that he's either really excited about being with another guy or he's nervous. Either way he keeps coming back for more, mostly as a bottom. Here he's paired with airplane mechanic Alan who claims to have a way with the ladies but seems awfully excite to be with a guy. You just have to see the body language in the pre-sex interview portion of Brendan & Alan. They are VERY handsy with each other.
As mentioned before Sean Cody films a helluva lot of guys but sometimes they don't work out for one reason or another. Nevertheless there's still usable footage that the site puts together in compilations called "Auditions". Video #984 is Auditions #34 and features 3 guys in two scenes apiece and...each guy is over 6 feet tall. Guy #1 is 6'5" , #2 is 6'2" and #3 is 6'1". Interestingly each guy is built about the same and are all big shooters. Personality-wise none of the guys have that certain spark but we've been proven wrong before. Of note in one of the scenes---the Sean Cody kitchen set debuts.
This week Sean Cody released video #985 Jamie & Gabe, one of the more adorable pairings in recent memory. Ages 19 & 18 respectively these two guys have real chemistry and you can just tell that they were very eager to get it on. Jamie is so damn cute & sexy that he's positively irresistible and Gabe quickly falls under his spell. We may not be seeing much more of Jamie, if at all, because he's enlisted in the Navy. Isn't that always the way? Gabe is still on the fence sexuality wise but we have a inkling a scene with Jamie might have tipped the scales.
Lastly, this weekend Sean Cody released #986 which introduces Landon. As we've mentioned before the site has been criticized for lacking men of color and these complaints aren't entirely without merit. But recently Sean Cody has been making an effort. Landon is one of of those guys that is just plain perfection. Cute, dimpled smile, amazingly hot body, & hung Landon also has a winning personality. He's not really a show-off but when he gets into his scene he does get into it. He's also visiting from the east so it's hard to say if we'll see him again --but you just never know.
