Finally! Today GAYVN announced that the pre-nominations were now open for the 2010 GAYVN Awards for the best gay adult films, performers and websites of 2009. If you've been following along you know that originally there was speculation that these awards wouldn't be held at all. Then GAYVN announced that they were definitely going on although they were being put on hold for awhile as a venue & media sponsorship was sought out. Usually the nominations and the awards show takes place earlier in the year so the delays were generating lots of buzz.
 
  So, this is good news for people in the gay porn biz and the many fans who care about these things. At least for now. Keep in mind that this is just the first phase as the industry submits nominations to the official website through March 6th. While the awards presentation is scheduled for April there's no exact date or venue for them or even a date for when the nominations will be announced.
