Where Are They Now?
Ty Colt Leo Giamani Derrick Vinyard
This week there was a little buzz surrounding former (?) Falcon stud Ty Colt and his current whereabouts (see below) and it served as a reminder that there are several "it" guys from the last couple years that we haven't seen much of lately. Oh sure, we know that fast-rising stars sometimes burn brightly and then disappear or move on to other ventures so we can't keep up with ALL of them. Today we're concentrating on just a few.
It's true that it really hasn't been long since we saw Ty Colt in Roughin' It but it sounds like it was the last movie he did for Falcon. He started out as a Falcon Str8 Men exclusive before moving into features and getting a plum layout in Men Magazine. Plus he had the distinction of being the first top Nash Lawler onscreen. Not that Ty Colt was much in the news to begin with, but there didn't seem to be anything about him at all. This week Queer Me Now tracked him down to Tranny Seducers, a site dedicated to fantasy videos where "unsuspecting" straight guys get seduced by trannies. It was pretty surprising news although we're hardly shocked by much these days. After all John Magnum did tranny porn when he was making the transition from being Sean Cody model Joey to his current status. It will be interesting to see if Ty Colt follows the same type of path and does a few rounds of various online video sites and flicks.
It's really hard to imagine a more prominent "it" guy of the past couple years than Leo Giamani and though he hasn't been onscreen in awhile (also Roughin' It) he still remains very popular. It's unlikely you'll get a definitive answer as to why he's not working in front of the camera these days simply because the reasons are varied. Too much fame, too soon perhaps? Yes, in part. Some degree of unhappiness with the biz? Yes, that too. We've heard other stories but frankly the person who can explain it all the best is Leo himself. As for now, he hasn't disappeared. He is being represented by David Forest who is also managing Zeb Atlas, Brent Corrigan, Tony Capucci, Mark Dalton, Kelly Taylor, and now Samuel Colt (for live appearances).No word yet on whether Leo Giamani has plans to get back in front of the cameras...yet.
Porn star Derrick Vinyard was in some of the biggest Falcon movies in the last decade then he too eased up on his work in a semi-retirement kind of way. He also did some hot scenes at Cocky Boys but the last one appeared in the spring of '09. You'll soon be seeing him again on the screen because he's in the Jet Set parody Jersey Score which wrapped this week. Yes, it's a porn version of that MTV show Jersey Shore which is also getting the straight porn treatment (Jersey Shore XXX). Starring in the Jet Set version is Kevin Cavalli, Trent Diesel, Dean Coxx, Jarred King, and new JS exclusive Joshua Logan. By the way, Cavalli is ALSO in the straight parody. It would be funny if he played it exactly the same.
