GLAAD To Be Nominated 2010

The 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards nominations were announced and we have a rundown, including preliminary details on the three presentations that take place in March, April & June. GLAAD has also released a special YouTube video (see below) of the nomination announcement for your convenience. ABC-TV received the most amount of nominations with 8 although but since there are 152 nominees in 32 categories the awards look like they are nicely dispersed. There will be Special Awards as well although only one has been announced so far--Cynthia Nixon will receive the Vito Russo Award.
As before the GLAAD Media Awards ceremonies will take place in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco with celebrity hosts and presenters as follows:
--New York City March 13, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis. Alan Cumming hosts.
