Best of 2009: Our Top Online Stars

As we continue our retrospective of 2009 we turn our attention back to online video sites and the models/performers/stars who make them worthwhile. We've already mentioned the new faces (see Our Favorite Online Stars of 2009: The Newcomers) so today we pay tribute to our favorites who populate the many online video websites that have made such an impact on the gay porn biz.
Cody Cummings. Sure, we'd love it if he did a full-on gay scene and he did get closer in 2009 but he's such an all-around good guy about it and so delicious to look at that we'll continue to be a fan. Plus, he really puts an effort into his videos week after week and has become a more inviting site host.
Dawson (Corbin Fisher). Any time you see a video with this blond babe with the killer muscle bod it's going to be a good one and he is always a good choice to break in the new models.
Dean Coxx (Club Dean). He's always lovely to look at and damn hot to watch in action and on his own site he keeps it all interesting with a great amount of variety and hot guest stars.
Harley Jeff Jeremy Hall
Harley (Sean Cody). He may have retired from gay porn but Harley went out on a high note thanks to his ingratiating personality and hot sex scenes.
Jeff (Str8Cam). This muscular & handsome straight guy puts on live cam shows at least a couple days a week and puts on a great show, always having fun and pleasing his viewers.
Jeremy Hall (Club Jeremy Hall, On The Hunt) Adult film star that started & stars in his own site where he gets to have fun with his jock models. And you can pretty much see him do the same thing at On the Hunt. Just plain sexy.
Mason Wyler Payne Reese Rideout
Mason Wyler. During the course of his site's first year gay porn's favorite sex pig evolved. No, he's still a sex-hungry slut but Mason seemed less a "special guest" and more of a site host. Plus. he showed surprising versatility by topping several times.
Payne. (Frat Men & Frat Pad) You knew we had to include Payne--one of the hottest & most fun guys to watch at these sites. Even though he left the pad in Dec '09 we still hold out hope he'll return or get talked into other online appearances. It's a must.
Reese Rideout. (Randy Blue). What else can be said about this awesomely cute muscle babe who looks like he's having a blast in his porn, making goofy YouTube videos, and more. A star.
Rusty Stevens Skyler Caine Tommy D
Rusty Stevens (Everywhere!). Quantity of appearances is not what put this sexy star on the list, but rather the variety. Plus Rusty does it all very convincingly and with gusto.
Skyler Caine. (Cocky Boys). We should have placed him on the list of favorite newcomers but his inclusion here should rectify that. Handsome, almost beautiful newcomer who is one of the many highlights on a very hot site.
Tommy D. Tommy has always been fun to watch but this year he really took it to a different level by trying all kinds of sexy stuff. You wouldn't think of this blue-eyed blond All-American type as having a kinky side---but he does!
We'd also like to give special mention to the guys who performed in a series of special videos released in 2009. Sure, these guys were having fun on the dimes of their respective sites but they also gave extra effort to make these videos even more special.
Sean Cody Hawaiian Vacation. The site took seven of its hottest models to Hawaii on vacation sexfest for ten scenes and almost as many behind-the=scenes videos. Kurt, Pete, Matt, Jake, Isaac, Keith, & Doug all had a blast for our benefit and pretty much did it all. Special commendation goes to cute blond Pete who got DP'ed TWICE!
Corbin Fisher/Bel Ami and Cocky Boys/Bel Ami. One of the big stories of the year was the collaborations between Euro site Bel Ami Online & two American sites and the very hot videos that resulted (and are still to play out). CF's Dawson & CB's Jesse Santana certainly stood out in their scenes while Euro-studs Kris Evans, Dolph Lambert, & Brandon Manilow made us take notice of their hot site.
That 70s Gay Porn Movie Part 1 & Part 2. Randy Blue produced a full-length retro porn parody that was well-crafted from its script to its overall look and perfectly cast. The site chose to feature mostly the relatively new RB models along with site veterans like Reese Rideout as the stoner pledgemaster (he was hilarious) and Xander Scott. Scott actually was a revelation as an actor as the asshole frat president who gets his comeuppance. As for the newer guys they really stepped it up--Christian Sharp as the new pledge, and Brandon Kent, Vincent DeSalvo, & Mike West as horny frat bros. We liked all of these guys before but REALLY took notice after this.
