Best of 2009: Our Favorite Crossover Stars

As we mentioned previously we have a few new lists this year that we've added to our Best of 2009 series and today we take a look at our Top Crossover Stars. This ever-growing category features those guys who do both studio & website videos and those who work in production as well as perform. We felt the need to spotlight these multi-talented & multi-tasking men who might not otherwise not fit into one of our other more specific categories.
Adam Killian. This super-sexy guy was a model, dancer and gay porn videographer/cinematographer so he pretty much knew the biz well before he started performing in it. He had several important roles in and proved to be an on-screen talent too. At the same time he's still doing camera work. Busy, busy.
Beaux Banner. This handsome star has also been around for several years and he too has successfully traversed the path back and forth between website porn and studio porn and back.
Bobby Clark. This rising star & model is certainly handsome but more than mere eye candy. There's something very intriguing sexy about this guy-next-door persona with a dirty-boy quality.
Conner Habib. This handsome performer is not new to the biz but people began to take more notice of him in 2009 thanks to some key appearances online and in movies. It looks like 2010 we'll continue to see more of this naturally sexy stud.
David Dakota. This handsome blue-eyed blond with the perpetual smile really seems to love what he does whether it's in movies or online.
Dayton O'Connor. Like others on this list he was very busy in 2009. He started out online and went on to do movies and still moves back and forth between the genres.
Derrek Diamond Jesse Santana Leo Giamani
Derrek Diamond. Again one of the busiest, sexiest, and most versatile stars of 2009 whose work seems to have encompassed every genre & studio as well as several websites where he first started. About the only predictable thing about this studly guy is to expect to see him doing more.
Jesse Santana. Another sexy performer who can do studio flicks and online video with the greatest of ease. Versatile, uninhibited, and simply exudes sex.
Leo Giamani. All rumors aside about his current & future plans, we couldn't not mention the star who simply captivated the industry and led to his exclusive contracts online & in movies. Whatever the future holds for this sexy, muscular & hung star in 2009 he was still one of our faves.
Nash Lawler. He's mostly done movies this year but this hot jock has still gone back to dabble in online videos, including one with his old buddy Tommy D. Oh yes, and he bottomed on film for the first time---it always pays to make news.
Race Cooper. Another busy & sexy man who not only is a crossover star but has crossover appeal. This versatile performer is an energetic and enthusiastic personality who brings it in everything he does.
Rod Daily. This sexy guy with the distinctive star tattoos has always seemed to be determined to live up to his porn name, especially this year. Like many on this list he hasn't shied away from doing movies and websites and a variety of work.
Spencer Reed Steve Cruz Wolf Hudson
Spencer Reed. This tall, dark, & handsome power top has been in the biz for several years but this last year he really stepped it up in number of website videos and a few studio videos. He's done so much varied material, everything from vanilla to kink to dancing & modeling that it was hard to keep track. And we still consider this surprisingly soft-spoken a rising star to keep an eye on.
Steve Cruz. We've commented many times that Steve may be the busiest guy in the biz and everything he does he does very well. Most of the year we saw his talent at work in his collaborations with Leif Gobo directing Mustang flicks. At the end of the year we were reminded of his on-camera talent and riveting sexiness in his Hard Friction DVD and his starring role in Focus/Refocus.
Wolf Hudson. This multi-talented is the epitome of a crossover star--dancer, performer, director & more in movies & online videos and in various genres. Truly a one of kind personality.
