Best of 2009: Top Re-Surging Stars
As we've mentioned 2009 was a pretty big year when it came to new talent both in movies and on websites (we'll get to our favorite new website stars this week) but it was also a year for re-surging stars. These are the performers who may have retired briefly and returned, those who made some career moves that got them more roles, etc.
Nick Capra. This super-sexy star not only started his own site but he has made some other appearances online, most notably at Cocksure Men. If you need to be reminded (and we don't think you do) of how talented this dark and handsome is, check out his videos.
Colby Keller. Another star who really never went away although we hadn't seen as much of him as we'd like. Like many hot stars who started out doing online video sites Colby went back to this genre and back to his "roots" as well as in XXX from Mustang.
Rob Romoni. This handsome & muscular award-winning star has worked for various studios over the years and has done work behind the camera & behind the scenes. This year he kept a big presence on Twitter and went in front of the cameras once again. You can already see some of that work now and in one of the first big movies of 2010, Mustang's Adrenaline.
Matthew Rush. The year started out with this Falcon star going freelance and for a brief time it we wondered what would happen next. But thanks to some sharp decisions and key appearances at online video sites, Rush re-emerged as a sought after star. Take a look at all the work he's done in 2009 and you'll see what we mean.
Zak Spears. One of our all-time faves this super-masculine and hairy star has never really totally gone away nor has he totally gotten back into performing but when he does you really know it. This coming year he's one of the stars of a big budget flick Demonic Sex where he's the Prince of Darkness turning Samuel Colt into one of his demons!
Diesel Washington. Even though he retired briefly earlier this year DW never really vanished from the scene, staying quite visible via his outspoken blog. We've seen just the first of some of his new work so you're bound to see more of one of the most proactive guys in the biz in one way or another in 2010.
