Our Top Ten New Websites of 2009
Thanks to competition and the economy there may not have been as many new online video sites in 2009 as in previous years but there were still quite a few that stood out. Our favorites among these new sites caught our attention with their creativity, interesting concepts and hot models---an unbeatable combination.
Butt Machine Boys. Another KinkMen site that was actually a re-launch of an existinmg site. Featuring the guys who appear at the other Van Darkholme sites in some very interesting situations--sex with odd & futuristic mechanical devices. It's as surreal as it sounds but also fascinating to see. As with the other KinkMen sites you'll be surprised to see that it's not as one-note as it sounds.
Club Jason Sparks. Performer & producer Jason Sparks used his experience to create a well-designed site that makes the best use of the online video genre. He travels around the country to present newcomers and rising stars in strikingly hot videos. All in all a great alternative to standard online video sites.
Dominic Ford. To be sure this site would be notable by the mere fact that it releases its videos in 3D and 2D. However DF evolved into much more by featuring some of the hottest talent in the biz and doing superb marketing. The site has also ventured to Europe to film, released DVDs, and will soon release a full-length movie Whorrey Potter. A great example of what happens when you have a hook or gimmick and you use it as a tool to create something bigger. We can't wait to see what DF will do next.
Drake Rock. Male Perfection, Rock Jocks, & The Cock Tease were finally melded into this one well-designed site with plenty of diverse models & content. Drake Rock introduced us to some of the hottest guys, many of whom are already on their way to becoming stars. We've seen familiar faces too in some hot videos that are well-produced without being overly slick. There's a raw, earthy appeal to this site that we hope more people discover.
Edger 9. Super-hot newcomer Race Cooper took a big risk by starting this site while his career was still on the rise but it has really paid off here. Race has used his love for "hot guys, hot wheels, and hot gay sex!" to create this fantasy video site where he plays a personal driver for company execs. His sexual exploits are chronicled in super-hot videos featuring a great variety of hot men.
Hard Friction. Given the fact that this new site is produced & directed by stars Steve Cruz & Bruno Bond (who also appear in the videos) we figured that this would be a hot site. And it is. Solos & man on man action feature hot newcomers & rising stars in very well-produced & diverse videos, including a few sex-fantasy mini-movies. From what we've heard there's some even more amazing content due in 2010.
Island Studs. One of the guys behind the sexy male calendars from FotoFactory has created a site that is as close as you'll get to a video version of those hot calendars. Beautifully photographed & filmed this site features the fresh faces & hot bods of naturally sexy men from Hawaii as well as other Pacific & Caribbean islands. Real guys photographed at work & play and getting off on camera. What could be better?
Naked Kombat. Created by Van Darkholme as a companion site to his successful & innovative Bound Gods, this one features hot porn stars & performers in real wrestling matches where the loser has to sexually submit to the winner. It's darkly erotic and surprisingly diverse--oil matches, mud matches, live audiences, and more. As with all the stuff at KinkMen, this site features well-produced, well-photographed & extra length videos that are just plain hot.
Nick Capra.com. Nick Capra made good use of his star power for this site that features him and other sexy studs in hot solo and man on man action. What we also liked about this site was the interesting variety and the "mini-movie" feel to many of the videos which can be viewed on demand. Lots of extras here including behind the scenes action and galleries.
Real Guys Exposed. When this site debuted this fall we were blown away by the way site host Robert Chandler reinvented the so-called amateur video site. A wonderfully edited mix of interviews & solo sex videos that is fascinating to view as well as is a big turn on. A site so well named because you really will see models & performers as they really are.
