Holiday Treats: Pledgemaster--The Hazing
One of the surprise releases of the week (okay we were surprised anyway) was Pledgemaster--The Hazing, the new BIG two-disc all-star Falcon movie that has had people talking about for awhile now. We weren't expecting this to be available on DVD until January but we assume that Falcon wanted to get it out to be eligible for the upcoming awards season. It's also available at Falcon XXX for those who don't want to wait for their copy in the mail. We haven't seen it, yet the fact that it's been released as a DVD and online simultaneously means that Falcon is obviously big on this flick. Here we have some background and preview info to share that should explain why.
Pledgemaster--The Hazing is the third in the Falcon "Pledgemaster" series although it's not a sequel storywise, merely thematically. All three videos in the series feature the sexual goings on during pledge week at a frat house with one hardened & ultra-masculine pledgemaster in charge. The first flick The Pledgemasters was released in 1989 and starred super-sexy Steve Hammond and many other Falcon stars of the day. None of the stars are either alive or active today but it was directed by Steven Scarborough who is of course very busy as Hot House's main director. The second feature New Pledgemaster was released 5 years later and starred Ken Ryker & Aiden Shaw, directed by Chi Chi LaRue. This one also featured kinky elements including use of candle wax.
Pledgemaster--The Hazing comes with Erik Rhodes as the head honcho and director John Bruno has incorporated elements from the first two videos into this feature. As with the hit Asylum this movie was filmed on location in LA, this time in an effectively spooky & rundown house. As you can tell from the trailer, this mood seems to permeate this film throughout.
There are a total of five scenes in Pledgemaster--The Hazing but the 2-disc "legacy" set also includes an extended edit of the final scene between Derrek Diamond & Erik Rhodes; a behind the scenes video and bonus scenes from the first two movies in the series. The main scenes are as follows:
The premise of Pledgemaster--The Hazing is relatively simple: a group of frat brothers from the Phi Epsilon Chi fraternity go hunting for new pledges and put them through a series of initiation rites. The brothers include Nash Lawler, John Magnum, TJ Hawke, Luke Marcum, and Erik Rhodes who individually put some unsuspecting pledges through their paces.
Rising star Nash Lawler seems to get the most action as he appears in the first two scenes. He's in the van and in charge when the first recruits are nabbed and ordered to strip gown so they can be bound. While Kyler Benz & Dayton O'Conner are tied their buddy Cameron Marshall has to suck on Nash. In the second scene Nash & John Magnum take Kyler & Dayton down into a secret room for the traditional paddling and sexual domination. Magnum tops Kyler while Nash takes on Dayton and then both frat brothers finish off with each other!
TJ Hawke has two pledges to work over--Jake Woods and Patrick Kennedy. He first uses some extensive dildo action on the guys and then forces one to top the other. Of course he gets involved too with a daisy chain.
The time for the initiation of Cameron Marshall comes at the hands of Luke Marcum. Marcum does what the other masters have done in the previous scenes--force feeding the pledges with inches and inches of cock. In this case he also tops him but after pouring melted wax on him.
Melted wax & a riding crop are used by Erik Rhodes on Derrek Diamond in the final scene and as with the other pledges Derrek is dominated & topped. However, in the extended edit of the scene Derrek's initiation includes topping Erik Rhodes.
Naturally, we'll be reviewing this one in the near future.
