This time in our look at the Cybersocket Web Awards nominations we spotlight the Best Amateur Video Site category. Given what has happened these past couple years at many websites this category may become an obsolete misnomer in the near future. Cybersocket refers to the nominees in this category as "amateur sites that are not polished like professional studio porn."  In many instances the sites nominated here don't always feature performers who you would think of as "amateurs". As for not being as polished as studio porn, that too is changing rather quickly. In fact we would venture to say that thee are probably purists out there who feel that many online video sites have gotten too slick.

 Sean Cody. This site has rarely strayed from its tried & true formula of hot guys in well-produced videos. Other sites have tried to imitate SC but they often have to try something different because they suffer in comparison. We love seeing all the hot new faces but we still wish many of our faves would stick around more.

 Cocky Boys. This site is just as consistency---in its unpredictability. The mix of amateurs & pros has
kept this site interesting and as successful as it's become it still manages to produce good videos that don't look slick. 

 Randy Blue. Every year this site pushes the outside of the envelope a little bit more and 2009 was no different. We often hear the most rumors about this site & some pending deal or another so maybe 2010 will be the year that rumors become fact.

 Amateur Straight Guys. Sadly this hot site went through some internal strife this past year and it looks like it may never recover. It's a shame because this one really had all the qualities that make for a successful site.

 Blake Mason. This of any one of the top sites from above and place it in the UK and that's what you'll get with this site. It may often skew towards younger blokes but this site is remarkably diverse --and hot.  , 

 Dirty Boy Video. If you're going by the strict definition of "amateur site" then this one would certainly fit to a tee. So aptly named that to call it anything else would be ridiculous. It's also surprisingly fun.  

 You Love Jack. Another site that keeps it as amateur as possible. There never sems to be a shortage of  uninhibited exhibitionists with big cocks here. More power to them.
  
 Next Door Buddies. While this site has seen fewer amateurs and more rising stars in the past couple years we love that this is one of the few places to see them together in hot videos.

 Corbin Fisher. We always likened this site to a porn version of A & F and this still holds true. While spending time & resources expanding the CF brand it still kept producing hot videos & hot men. 

 English Lads. Another Brit site that found its inspiration from many of the above sites. The US may have more eligible hot "amateurs" but per capita the UK may have us beat.
