World Aids Day
Today December 1 is World AIDS Day when the world makes an effort to unite in the fight against HIV & AIDS. We don't have to tell any of you what this day of awareness & education is all about or what it means. We could say with certainty that all of us have lost someone we know to AIDS over the years, whether they were acquaintances, friends, or loved ones. It's just the sad truth of it all. Today we remember those we've loved & lost & miss. We know that many of those we've lost would have made such a difference in the world had they lived. But we prefer to think that if their deaths have saved other lives and inspired others then they are still making a difference in this world.
