News Round-Up: The Website Edition

In this edition of our irregular "news roundup" feature our focus is on several websites that have recently made a few changes or are about to do so---and one that is about to make a comeback.
We start off with that returning site, or more appropriately sites. Recently go we told you that we had some insider info that new videos were being produced for a company that hadn't been updated for awhile. Now we can reveal that the company is Suite 703 which produces Hot Jocks, Nice Cocks, My Brother's Hot Friend, & Men Hard At Work. Our buddy, director Jett Blakk told us he was working on a few videos for Suite 703 (this was early in October) and we waited until we heard more. As it happens Twitter was our friend in this matter. Tristan Jaxx mentioned he was wearing a suit for a scene at Suite 703 while porn journalist/interviewer extraordinaire Jason Sechrest mentioned that Josh Griffin & Rob Romoni were doing a flip-flop scene for the company. We asked him when some of these new videos would be posted and he replied that when it happened he'd be pushing it on his blog. We don't yet whether all three of the Suite 703 entities will be revived but the prospect of new videos is exciting.

Dominic Ford is in the news again this week for several reasons, the most important being it's new format. The 3D site announced an industry first---it will be releasing full HD versions of all its downloadable videos with a huge 1920 x 1080 resolution. The first video to feature this new format is also one of our picks of the week --a super hot flip-flop scene with Cameron Adams & Jake Steel. These two guys are two of the hottest rising stars so it seems fitting that their video would be the first in the new format. According to Dominic Ford customers have been asking for larger format videos AND photos so the site has complied with the member requests and delivered. For those with slower internet connections Dominic Ford will still offer videos in smaller sizes. In addition the site is "redigitizing" it's back catalog to feature the larger format.
Dominic Ford has also been expanding its online store which includes DVDs. The most recent addition is Budapest Heat which features five scenes shot in Europe when the site was there on location for it's upcoming blockbuster Whorrey Potter. Incidentally this well-publicized feature film doesn't have an official release date but it's expected very shortly.

Drake Rock has decided to make his videos downloadable again----at least through the end of 2009. The site had made the videos downloadable before when it was three separate sites (Male Perfection, Rock Hard Jocks, & The Cock Tease) but file-sharing got to be a problem so Drake went back to streaming format only. Since then he's reconsidered and videos are offered being offered again as downloadable, but it is an experimental venture. If sales increase and he doesn't find them on the web, then the downloadable format will continue into 2010 as an "ongoing perk".
As it turns out this week is a perfect jumping on point for Drake Rock. Not only is the downloadable format back but the third video released is super-hot (again, one of our picks of the week). It's a very simple yet genuinely passionate scene with David Dakota & Landon Conrad. They really make a great pair and with the cinema verite feel to the video, you will really feel like you're there in the bedroom with them.
We're delighted to see sexy David Dakota doing some interesting things now that he's freelance again and he really is just made for the camera. The video gives us a chance to see more of ultra-hot newcomer Landon Conrad who you'll be hearing more about in the coming year. This week Cocksure Men debuts it's new "Wrestling Series" videos with Brenden Cage vs Tyler Saint. As you might guess this new series features hot guys in wrestling matches---with stakes. Yep, wrestling videos are "in" these days and Jake Cruise Media is doing their own version as has been hinted at on the Cocksure Men blog. The action takes place on a bright white set with a blue wrestling mat so right from the star you'll see this is visually different than other wrestling videos, almost surreal. Cage & Saint start off wearing white boxer briefs and go at it with a little trash talking and what follows can be called playful intensity. They don't wrestle for long before stripping down and getting down to the sex part, but the sex still retains that feeling that the guys are in a competition--a sex match if you will. It's going to be interesting to see who else turns up in a match.. After all does really anyone expect to beat granite-muscled Bo Dean?
