Jack Manly Men: Colby Keller

As part of our year-end activities like our Best of 2009 lists and the announcement of our Jack Manly Man of the Year we'll also be making some more additions to our Jack Manly Men page. There will be a few names and faces that really came into prominence in 2009 as well as a few of our longtime faves that we feel it's finally time to put on this special listing. Such is the case with this week's addition Colby Keller.
First of all we have say that Colby Keller doesn't work nearly enough to satisfy us. Believe it or not, it's not for lack of trying (see below). True, he's been active for several years but he's not made nearly the amount of appearances in films & on websites that you'd expect. And he has done a lot of diverse work over the years. Plus, you could say that there is an upside to his infrequent appearances ---he hasn't overstayed his welcome or become stale. All that said, we'd still like to see more of Colby Keller. The good-looking & naturally sexy star is always fun to watch in action because he's energetic & versatile and that trait never goes out of style.
Of course we enjoy reviewing the work of guys like Colby Keller because we get to rediscover the reasons why we like them in the first place. There's also the new things we find out. For example, both Colby Keller and Dakota Rivers have made multiple appearances at Randy Blue but never had a scene together. However, in three of Colby's most recent appearances (Bound Gods, Naked Kombat, & Cocksure Men) his scene partner was none other that Dakota Rivers. Go figure.
Now, as we mentioned above Colby Keller was actually having a hard time getting work earlier this year. He put it out there that he was still paying off student loans and because of the lack of work he was contemplating taking some desperate measures to get hired. We think (or at least we hope) that this move paid off a little because we have seen Mr Keller in several videos since and John Bruno posted new pics of Colby at the Massive blog. So we think we'll at least see him in soon. It doesn't mean he's working steadily enough for us so we put it out there to studios and websites---hire this man!
