And The Award Goes To...
There were some interesting stories and news tidbits this week, many of which you've already heard about or read so we're going to recap them in a different way---in the form of an awards presentation. So, we hereby present the first Jack Manly Awards Of The Week.
The Sexy Beast Award goes to Spencer Reed. This week the sexy star traveled across country for some live shows for Kink Men (See Naked Kombat & Bound Gods Live!) We don't know how the first show went but Spencer tweeted that in his wrestling match he sent both Patrick Rouge & Dean Tucker to the hospital with injuries. Ouch! That proves these matches are all too real! We guess Spencer is as strong as he looks.
The Surging Star Award goes to Matthew Rush. This week he made an appearance at Men Over 30 topping Braxton Bond and reminded us again that in spite of some naysayers he's had a busy year since going freelance and proved he's as big a draw as ever.
This leads right into the Going Strong Award to Men Over 30 ,Circle Jerk Boys, & Extra Big Dicks. The haven't been paying enough attention to these sites and should be. They've been featuring a ton of star power including Diesel Washington, Tommy Defendi, Shane Erickson, Ryan Raz, and many others week after week. We also needed to remind you (and ourselves) that membership to any of the sites gets you full access to ALL the others including Boyz Party & Boys Gone Bad. Yes, you get full access to ALL five sites. To top it all off the videos are now DRM free and they're working on the archives too.
The Wish You Were Here Award goes to Samuel Colt & Tony Aziz, the sweet & sexy couple who are vacationing right now in Thailand and posting pics on Twitpic that will make you green with envy. especially if you're in a cold climate right now.
The Oldies But Goodies Award goes to Vintage Gay Loops, the site that brings you '60s & 70s gay porn flicks and pics from a huge archive. We had a chance to look at the site this week and it's a treasure trove of classic delights. It's a great look back at the gay porn that started it all and it's still hot. Sure it's got cheesy situations & music and the film looks vintage but the guys are so sexy. The scenes sometimes put modern porn to shame!
By the same token we have the Oldies But Goodies & Beyond Award which goes to Colt Studios. With its all-new redesigned site you can watch just about everything that the studio has done from the beginning right up to today's current releases. Yes, you can still buy the DVDs but now you can watch scenes and whole DVDs from your computer. Vintage & current pics are there too and more is being added all the time.
The Self-Promotion Award goes to Wolf Hudson (see Cybersocket Awards: Wolf Hudson Wants Your Vote) for finding a new, sexy, & fun way to win your vote.
