Vintage Gay Loops
If you've ever wondered how gay porn started out and what it looked like there's a new website that will satisfy that curiosity. It's called Vintage Gay Loops, brought to you by the company behind the Next Door Studios sites and it hearkens back to the days of early gay porn---literally! This unique new site is a vast archive of 8-mm adult gay films and photos from the early 1960s to the mid-1970s and it promises to be the most comprehensive gay vintage porn site around.
Vintage Gay Loops was produced in partnership with David Stidler, an adult industry veteran who has been collecting vintage gay erotica for decades. The site was launched to coincide with the 40th anniversary year of the Stonewall Riots in 1969 and it shows how far we have come in the years since. For those not in the know there was a time when gay porn was illegal and access to such materials was virtually non-existent. Early gay porn flicks were made in black & white and in color and produced for escort services. They were then developed into 8-mm loops for special screenings and could be seen later in adult bookstores and theaters. This was way before the days of feature length gay porn flicks that began to show up in the '70s.
Vintage Gay Loops features new scenes every week from these archives, featuring a ton of hot models and performers. There's also a vintage photos collection and a "Pride Timelines" section. Vintage Gay Loops also has a feature unique to this site---a blog that where members can share their stories from the past.
With Vintage Gay Loops, Colt Studios and the Next Door Studios sites all being handled by the same company virtually the entire history of gay porn can be viewed online. Pretty nifty. We'll be posting our review of Vintage Gay Loops in the very near future.
