More Halloween Costumes For Porn Stars

We got such an enthusiastic response to our earlier blog where we put Halloween costumes on some favorite porn stars that we went ahead and did another round. If you follow us on Twitter you'll know we already posted several pics from this second round at Twitpic so we could let some of the stars see the results before Halloween. We also had to check with a few of them to make sure they approved of our choices.
When we asked rising star JR Matthews what costume he would like he responded immediately with Catwoman! You see this sexy new star just got a new whip for his collection (yes, he has several) so he wanted a costume that would fit right in. Now we wouldn't think of putting this studly guy in drag so we compromise and made him more of a Cat-Man as you see above.
We just ran across some pics of perennial "it" guy Leo Giamani from his Rufskins catalog work and the sportswear definitely had a gladiator feel. So we put him into a Spartan outfit from 300. As you can see he didn't need any CGI muscles and could have easily have been one of the soldiers in the flick.
When dressed up Samuel Colt and Steve Cruz we didn't want to neglect their respective boyfriends so we came up with outfits for them. If you recall we thought that Steve's bf Bruno Bond would make a very respectable Wolverine but we didn't want to repeat ourselves. We looked at Bruno's pic on the masthead of the upcoming site Hard Friction and thought that he had that sexy look of a secret agent, namely James Bond. Of course the name Bruno Bond was a key factor to. As for Samuel Colt's bf Tony Aziz we decided to make him Aladdin. Our friend GPCrush loved it--in fact she kept thinking of the big "Prince Ali" production number from the Disney animated flick. Both Samuel & Tony liked it too and that was enough for us!

Finally we were looking at a profile pic of one of our favorites of 2009, Spencer Reed and the way he was photographed reminded us of Superman. SO...we said why not? Once we "dressed" him up in the famous leotards and changed his hairdo we were very pleased we put this sexy star in heroic garb. Before we wrote up this blog Spencer Reed tweeted that he was dancing as the devil at a nightclub this Halloween and we thought that he would indeed make a sexy devil. However we still wanted to use our previous Spencer pic so we used both, a distinction no one else in our blog received. Think of it as the two sides of Spencer Reed.
We had a couple more ideas but they weren't exactly true costumes so we didn't use them for this series. However, they did give us an idea for another series that we'd love to do or see a talented photographer pursue. Without naming names we found that several current porn stars either resemble or their overall look reminds us of iconic porn stars and gay icons from the past. We'd love to see several of these modern age stars photographed like their past counterparts so we may get to that before the year is up.
