Halloween In Weho
Even though Halloween isn't until next Saturday night it looks like Weho and LA will be celebrating ALL week long! It looks like several venues & clubs don't want to compete with each other at the Weho Halloween Carnaval on Saturday October 31. There's also something new this year: the Boys Town District will be presenting the 1st Annual Gaylloween starting on Friday after sundown--presenting the holiday as "it used to be" (who knows what this will be like). So if you locals have an itch to dress up a lot (or gawk)there will be several parties to attend throughout the week. In fact, Eagle LA actually started early this past Saturday with the Meat Rack Massacre. We're sure the bar will be posting pics soon. Here are some of the other highlights:
Monday October 26.
--Popcat at Rage presents the Monster Mash Masquerade Ball.
Wednesday October 28.
--Chi Chi LaRue presents her second annual Halloween extravaganza Dirty Sexy Scary 2 at Here. Chi Chi's "House of Whorerrors" will be hosted by Jason Sechrest with special guests Dean Coxx & Brent Everett!
Friday October 30.
--Blender is "back from the dead" with a grand re-opening party Zombie Nite at its new location at MJ's. Included will be Zombie Go-Gos!
--Eagle LA is keeping it simple with the Avatar Butt Art Halloween Party. There will be a $100 prize for the best painted butt--we kid you not.
--Faultline has turned their Freaky Friday into a pre-Halloween party complete with Go-Go Ghouls.
--Game Boi LA at Rage has a Halloween contest with a $1000 prize. Plus it's 18+ night.
--Oil Can Harry's has its 40th Annual Costume Party with cash prizes starting on Country Night.
Saturday October 31.
Of course there's the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval from 6-11 PM as well as the following:
--Cherry Pop presents Super Duper Cherry Pop taking over both Ultra Suede AND The Factory.
--Eagle LA presents Night of the Living Oink. Use your imagination.
--Faultline presents Manimal with a special Beast Costume Contest at midnight
--Haus of Horror at Crown Bar in Santa Monica.
--Oil Can Harry's second 40th Annual Costume Party features disco & Bonnie Pointer.tarting here with Country Night.
