AJ Irons at Cocky Boys AJ as Fabian with Spencer Reed Derek Salle
It's been an interesting week thanks to some casting news, announcements about new websites, and some surprising website appearances including one head-scratcher--a video featuring Derek Rivero.
For the most part we've stayed out of the whole Derek Rivero drama which has taken on a comedic life of its own online. We've avoided commenting on the press releases, the blogs, the vlogs, the mini-feuds, etc simply because it would be as superfluous as adding another punchline to a joke that someone else was telling. We'll continue to do that here although we are certainly warranted in expressing a little of our own WTF confusion.
This week Derek Rivero showed up in a solo at Cocky Boys which was surprising on its own. Stranger yet he used the name Derek Salle and billed himself as a bisexual student philosophy. No mention of hubby Zack Randall at all. Now we know Cocky Boys is an astute site so we can assume that they knew exactly who they were filming, even if it had been filmed awhile. Yet, the description accompany Derek's video made ZERO mention of his other porn name. Even if we assume Cocky Boys was in on this ruse it was all handled a bit like burying a front page story on the inside of a newspaper. The video was dated before the current Tory Mason & Scottie Brooks video and yet the press release came after. Thus unless a viewer knew where to look this Derek Salle/Rivero video might have been overlooked. Strange, to say the least. Especially considering the other video released with the Derek Salle scene.
Derek AJ/Fabian
Site-hopping stud AJ Irons also showed up at Cocky Boys this week and if we're not mistaken he might be ahead is his online duel with Jason Crystal (we'll tally their totals next week). We were pleased to see Cocky Boys acknowledge AJ Irons' prolific past and defend his appearance here. We agree with Cocky Boys that Irons has indeed improved. Besides he has a hot bod and is quite versatile and though he has only a solo here we're hoping AJ Irons does more here. We're not complaining about AJ being here, but we're plain confused that Cocky Boys mentions his video history said nothing about Jason Crystal when he appeared here or Derek Rivero.
AJ Irons also appeared this week at Dirty Tony although under the name Fabian. Here he's done several noteworthy appearances---a solo, a couple of scenes with relatively new guys, a HOT bottoming scene with Danny (aka Kevin Falk), and this week's ultra-hot pairing with Spencer Reed. Yep, he bottoms for super-sexy Jack Manly fave Spencer Reed who looks great and drills AJ/Fabian really good. Even if AJ Irons isn't ahead of Jason Crystal quantitatively we think he's ahead qualitatively.
Another surprise this week came at Extra Big Dicks where Diesel Washington turned up. No, it wasn't a surprise to see him here because he told his fans on his blog he had filmed a video for Extra Big Dicks. The surprise was that was posted so soon after shot. His partner here is Kain Warn whose done work for sites (including Men Over 30) and studios. Diesel is true form here, working a new sexual position into this video, "The Fleshjack". Now that Diesel is doing web work (finally) we'll see if his bud Wolf Hudson can convince to do some work at Cocky Boys.
Next up: A well-known porn couple is planning their own site; an online star has changed his looks and is may be a rising star in movies; and another rising star has been cast in the next installment of a big award-winning series.
