Dean Phoenix & Seth Sweet & Hayden Stephens
Have we mentioned that we love that Dean Phoenix is active again? Of course we're pretty sure we're not alone in that sentiment or that he's one of our all-time fave porn stars--after all he was indicted into the GayVN Hall Of Fame this past year. Besides, he's also one helluva nice guy---we heard that this was the case and confirmed it once we met him. It's also a little ironic that his career is having another resurrection and he's got the last name Phoenix with it's own connections to mythological (and comic book) resurrections. Frankly we don't know if this so-called "return" of Dean Phoenix is going to be a long-term one so we're going to enjoy the ride while we can.
We have to say that we're pretty fascinated with the interesting way that Dean Phoenix' return is playing out. He officially made his return at Jet Set Straight Edge in a well-publicized scene where he bottoms (for only the second time) for new Jet Set exclusive Hayden Stephens. It's a simple but very hot scene in bed with Dean & Hayden both looking like they're really into each other. That's one thing you can definitely attribute to Dean Phoenix--he knows how to kiss like he means it. Thankfully Hayden Stephens has opened up more as a performer since his early days as Evan Grey so he reciprocates pretty well. Now because Stephens is big & thick he has to go slow on our man Dean, who still looks visibly pained at first. Like a trooper he pulls out another hot performance.
That brings us to this week and Dean Phoenix' debut at Cocksure Men in "Tune Up". It's a fantasy-role play scene where Dean Phoenix takes on a challenging part--playing himself! PLUS, he reunites with Hayden Stephens (here he's Seth Sweet) except this time the top-bottom roles are flipped. Dean walks into a garage where mechanic Seth Sweet recognizes him & exclaims that Dean is his idol (we can certainly identify). Dean obliges his fan and the two have a long, hot sex scene. Lots of kissing, sucking, and Dean Phoenix gives Seth Sweet a good hard topping. Again there's a great chemistry here on film---whether it's acting or not, it certainly is believable.
Two really hot scenes and the question remains, what's next for Dean Phoenix. Either of the two sites would certainly benefit by his presence and we'd like to see him in a movie again. Time will tell.
